52 – Marry Him Wearing PJs.

"This is the last time I'll not explain this topic for 12th time." - That brought me back to earth!

"Excuse me? Did you say 12th time?" I asked Alex.Alex sighed and laid his head on the table.

We were in the canteen and Alex was explaining to me some formulas which were a little difficult for me. Alex finished explaining it to me for once but I kept him telling him that I didn't get it.

"Don't forget I have made those DIY ideas to remember Law Sections and Sub Sections." I - The sinister one replied very calmly.

Actually I was distracted by the idea Jack suggested that day. And he said he will plan everything and the girl! He also said that he'll arrange for it too. I mean I was in shock because not only he planned the thing but also agreed to arrange the things!!

I actually started to think whether he got hit on his head or something?

And yes that day when I told Charlotte that I was at Jack's home, she had some amusing expressions dancing on her face. And Ethan – my 'the head in gutter' friend kept wiggling his eyebrows every now and then.

Only these two can do these unnecessary things. Forgetting about their scattered love life and setting mine which would never happen.

"On earth Jiyana..." Alex said.

"What I m thinking is that what is that Jerk upto?" I rambled to Alex.

"Who is upto what?" Ohh I forgot, Alex didn't know anything. So I decided to pull his leg!

"Ohh you don't know? Jack planned to set you up with Charlotte again. And this time it would be intense. There may be some fights for love, you know like Bollywood movies."

I saw Alex's facial expressions changing. And God.. that was a sight to see!!

"It's nothing actually. You will have to act the possessive boyfriend that you of course failed to play last time. And if Ethan gets angry you just have to gift him two or three punches here and there. That's pretty much of it."

Alex studied my face to decipher any sign of mischief but I m pro!

After five minutes staring contest, he started to pack his bag and that caught me. I laughed very hard. Alex got the idea and drop the bag and massaged his temples.

"GOD Jiyana." And hit me on head with his rolled notebook.

"I should have take the picture." I said in between my unstoppable laugh.

Later that day Alex dropped me to office. I worked ignoring the employees those weren't my friends and sharing the poor Jokes with colleagues who actually liked me for me and my work. That's pretty much small group of four people including me.

I met Kevin for his signs and received some cookies! I was very happy. Chocolate cookies are second love - we can say. Hot chocolate is still the first.

Ethan dropped me home. And the things got suspicious when I saw Charlotte's confused face greeting me.

"Anything wrong?" Ethan asked.

"Hmm. Nothing as of now. Ethan go directly to home. I m telling you, it is weekday." With that she closed the door.

Wow! Ethan got very poor 'Bye.' In fact 'No Bye.'

I heard car engine roared and zoomed away. I went to my room and came back and she was still sitting on same position thinking very deeply.

And Charlotte thinking is probably a bad thing.

"Okay. Spill the beans already. What happened?" I asked her.

"Some strange girl showed up today. She wants me to design her wedding gown." - I must say Jack is fast and I had to play along.

"You are fashion designer, of course she'll come to you. How does that girl come to be strange?"

"Urghh you don't understand. Generally people come with their families or friends but she hadn't have any companion." Charlotte started to tell me the whole fiasco.

I was totally Interested because I wanted to know how that Jerk was ARRANGING the things.

"She seems mysterious to me. She told me that she wants simple wedding gown and that she can buy from any shop. Girls come and brag about their future husband. You know that how sweet their husbands are, what they do impress them. They just don't stop. But this girl..."

"This girl was holding back something. When I asked her name of her future husband and she almost said it but stopped before she utter a word as if telling his name is not good idea."

Jack was really good at that. Not just he formed a plan he also selected the perfect girl for that act. "Not all the people are same Charlotte. She might not want to tell everyone and who knows she and her boyfriend or fiance are going to elope."

"Then why does she want a wedding gown? She can marry him wearing PJs."

"Charlotte the reason she asked you to design simple gown is enough. Now don't you use that barely used brain in this matter. Let's cook something. I'll help in cutting veges.."

I averted her attention to food. And of course I haven't learnt anything more than cooking instant food.

"We are ordering pizza. I m not in mood to cook anyway." 

"You are the best! You know that?" I couldn't help but dance in joy hearing name of pizza.

"Don't you thank me girl. This treat is from your finest piece of eligible bachelor after all." With that Charlotte went to the backyard leaving me alone.
