Charlotte pouted but let it go with warning "we are not over here missy!"

Okay, it's temporary then! "Okay, I'll come up with other ideas till we have another inning!" I mocked in her tone. We both laughed and Ethan gave faint smile dreamily looking at Charlotte!!

Urghhh!!! Either you tell her or stop that Romeo act!!!

With our little fun we actually couldn't get time to arrange the table and set the dishes.

So, apparently Jack and Ethan did it for us! We don't mind.

I am non vegetarian so whatever Charlotte made for dinner was not difficult for me to swallow. And I got chance to try new recipe. Ethan talked about how meeting went to Charlotte and I was intently listening because this Big Meetings in Big Companies always fascinated me.

I mentally point out the topics Ethan was explaining to Charlotte which were definitely going over her head from her expressions but she was silently listening.

Why? Because she loves him!

"I checked his financial statements and I found his profit increasing year by year." Ethan now directed his conversation to Jack. Jack looked from his plate.

'Did he only analyze the profit figure?'

Before Jack could express his opinion, I jumped into the conversation.

"Did you study their Financial Ratios?" I asked him.

What? I can't stop myself. I am Finance student after all!

"No, we didn't reach to any conclusion as of now. I just got a look on first few pages of Report, but don't worry we always check that." Jack answered.

"Ohh, okay." My short and sweet reply.

"What would you have studied if you were at our place?" Jack inquired.

"Me?" I asked excitedly.

"So do you think Charlotte is interesting in playing the game of numbers here?" Jack said in bored tone.

Not wanting to pop Ethan's lovey dovey bubble as moment ago he was discussing business thing with Charlotte, I answered him.

"I would have compared the ratios with that of previous years and with other competitive entity's, if available and also with ratios of industry in which this company you are planning to make deal operates." I didn't stop there.

"I believe that the company you are thinking to make deal with is well known. I would have check it's performance in market because words are spread like fire. If we want to check apparent reliability of the figures they have provided, we should make conversation about their approximate sales figures and expenditure and not what they are planning to do in near future because that can be discussed after deciding about deal, that gives us two possibilities; one- the figures are reliable up to 70 to 80% or two- the person representing company has actually done his homework."

Ethan clapped his hands and wiped his fake tears.

"Just two days and you make me proud my student!"

"When did I take lessons from you?" I pretended to think placing my index finger.

I met Charlotte's gaze and we laughed.

Ethan just rolled his eyes.

"You have a good knowledge in this Number and Financial Figures!"

I didn't take me more than 3 days to earn appraise from this stoic figure!!!

Jack asked for sauce and Charlotte passed it to me and I being full of myself I took the small container and started to serve it.

I was in my all proud self thoughts when Ethan suddenly took that small container from my hand only to notice that I have served more than necessary sauce and it has actually going out of his plate.

AND HERE I M DEAD!!!

Why Jiyana? Why? Why do you have to so overly react on his praise? He just said 'You have good knowledge' that's it...

I turned my head towards Jack and mush to my disappointment he is already looking at me like lion to his poor prey...

Think Jiyana think! Think before you get killed by this 'Lull before Storm'

I immediately switched my plate with him even though I hate sauce. I had to do it just save myself from my stupidity. Charlotte saw this and I know she was holding her laughing fit. I waited silently whether this remedy is accepted by almighty or not!

And I am saved as he started to eat with his knowing 2 seconds smirk. Ethan coughed – FAKE COUGH... Charlotte successfully turned her laughter into grin. I know I am not getting away from these taunts.

"Umm... Jack you are using her spoon." Charlotte said with knowing smile. Jack looked at the spoon. As if deer caught in light he immediately stood up and disappeared into kitchen and came back with other spoon. He resumed his eating as if nothing happened. Charlotte also sensed this and again wiggled her eyebrows.

I shrugged and looked at the plate. Ohh.... My new beautiful plate half filled with sauce and half with Charlotte's recipe. I hate sauce and just because f my stupidity I have to eat this – THIS MESS!!!

See, Jiyana and Jack just can't get through straight encounter. There has to be some weird things to happen.

Charlotte is in full mood to play matchmaking.
