11 Definitely not a Shortest Friendship

Soon we finished with our lunch. Waiter came with bill and as if everyone on the table except me knows, they didn't put any effort to pay bill and before I knew, Mr. Furious handed a Black Card – I think his credit card to a waiter. I think it's their mutual thing to pay the bills.

Now is the time to leave. Say bye to shortest friendship you ever had Jiyana.

We came out of the restaurant and I was about to say 'Goodbye, it was nice meeting all of you guys.' – You know the formal goodbye and all that.

Note that – I was about to say Goodbye. But Mr. Furious here always have to ruin my plans.

"Why did you decide to come here? Work or Study?"

"Don't you think you would have conducted this Investigation during lunch?" I snapped at him.

"And I m going to study here" I answered him though.

"Are you going to study here? What is your age?" Manners do not matter to Mr. Ethan and I don't have problem with that.

"Yes. Actually I have completed my study there in India. I will find Part time job to cover my expenses."

"And before any other doubt arise in your detective mind." I directed this explanation to Mr. Furious. "I want to clarify that coming in European Country is not that easy. So, I came here on Student Visa supported by an Education Loan which was easy due to my excellent scores in Qualification and working part time will help to save money for repayment of loan." I just said about my good score to Mr. Furious.

"Any doubt Mr.__? Okay. Now is the time to take your leave. It was nice -" I think my formal speech is never going to complete.

"Are you going to stay in a hotel? Because I am sure it will cost a lot to you." Charlotte interrupted me.

"No I'll find an apartment or Student hostel. My college is going to start in one week time. I'll manage it by part time job." I told her about my not so perfect plan.

"Perfect!!" She exclaimed. I don't know my plan deserves 'perfect' complement.

I looked at Ethan who is busy staring at Charlotte with amused expression. Caught It!!

"She probably wants you to be her roommate." Ethan explained.

I just stand there processing over enthusiastic Charlotte's intentions. This girl seriously doesn't think before doing or deciding anything. No, no, no. I just can't accept this. These are not just a simple lunch or hang out on friend's place.

And with that I turned to look at Mr. Furious because I surely know he will not agree with Charlotte's decision and for the first time since meeting him, I want him to say the 'no'. And he just shrugged as if she is just asking me my share of Ice crème.

"No I can't Charlotte. I just can't accept this. Please ..." I requested her. I saw sadness in her eyes.

"I am not doing this to help you. It's just that I don't have female friend from long time and believe me being with only male friends sucks..." I just laughed at her funny comment and both boys just exclaimed with big HEY!!

Now what should I do to make her smile. "Okay give me one week of time. If in this one week I couldn't find a decent apartment to live then I'll accept your request happily. Is that okay with you?" I make a deal with her.

With that she just gave me her best smile. Should I be happy that she is giving me a smile because it seems that a smile was for another reason?

We exchanged our phone numbers except Mr. Furious. And I don't want his number. Ha!!

"Friends?" Charlotte asked me suddenly. That took me little bit off guard. Nevertheless I accepted her hand hanging in air. "Friends..." I just said those words more to myself. And I am dragged in a bone crushing hug by none other than Charlotte.

I am having an opinion that it is not a short term Friendship.

"Can I also be friend with my childhood buddy's newly found friend?" Ethan asked more like quoted it from behind me. Charlotte finally let me go. And I turned to him with a big grin on my face. I nodded in approval and he engulfed me in side hug which I gladly accept.

I can never be this happy on just a second day of being in completely new city!

Expectantly I turned to Mr. Furious but at exact moment he turned and left saying "I'll get the car."

I stared at him long time. I felt hand on my shoulder and saw Charlotte starring in same direction.

"Don't worry about him. He is not so social with people." Charlotte said.

"I understand" I could just manage to say two words.

Hey Wattpaders!!!

Here Jiyana finally gotta make friends on just a second day!

She is ecstatic but Mr. Furious' reaction bothered her more! 

Let's see whether Jiyana will able to find an apartment or she'll land on Charlotte's home.
