10 Probably Shortest Friendship

I wonder how he can get such good friends with this arrogant attitude of him. Then again he might behave like this to the world outside except his Family and Friends.

Who cares!

Well... I might have little interest to know! Ohh just for the sake of curiosity!!!

We get into the restaurant which was almost full due to Sunday of course. He led me through small way between tables. I being lost puppy followed him to the farthest corner of the Restaurant. I spotted Ethan and Charlotte at one of the tables in corner. By seeing their faces, we can predict the tension between them.

Being a secretive lover does that to you.

I just can't get this LOVE thing at all, not that I didn't try it once.

Urghhh... forget it.

We sat across them. Only after me sitting on seat across her she noticed me and felt relieved. I think she wanted someone apart from Ethan there.

She thanked me for coming. She asked me to order while two boys had ordered already without even opening menu. I think this is their usual hang out place. I just didn't know many things about foreign recipes here so let Charlotte have privilege to order for me.

"Umm actually I don't know much about the dishes here. Will you order food of your choice for me?" I asked her.

She beamed like child at this. She started to analyze the menu. And when I say 'Analyze' I seriously meant it. She was looking at each item as if auditing the Financial Statements.

Don't mind me, but I m an Accounting and Finance Student. I'll obviously have such examples in my mind. Can't help it.

After 10 minutes of her expert Analysis, she finally ordered for both of us. Again we were thrown into an awkward situation. Think Jiyana Think....

"Yes!!" Urghhh why I have to be so excited on getting an idea!!

I cautiously placed by bag on table. "Here!" I slid the bag towards Mr. Furious. "My documents to check"

Ethan looked confused. That dumb man still couldn't get out of the shock of Charlotte's Date with some other guy.

Anyways, I have to prove Mr. Furious my legality of being here in Amsterdam and not a threat to her dear friend. I was feeling proud of myself not because I proved that I m not a threat but the documents contain some the certificates of my excellent grade in my education!

He took my passport and other identity proofs and then he was about to take one of those certificates when waiter came with our orders!!!

Seriously!! That dumb maniac had to interrupt us this time!! And with that he returned me my Documents without even taking a glance at those certificates!!

Why!! Why me?? (These were Charlotte's words but they seem perfect for my situation now.)

Why did he get satisfied with only 3 or 4 documents? Shouldn't he check all my documents to confirm his doubts? What if some of these documents contain information about my unstable mental health condition!!

There's no chance you are going to win over him Jiyana.

And why the hell I was thinking about my abnormal health condition. I am perfectly fine. Urghhh... this man was seriously getting on my nerves without knowing.

The clink on my glass brought me back out of my insane thoughts. Charlotte was looking at me expectantly. I apologized for my dizziness. I thanked for choosing best recipe I ever tested, apparently all recipes here are new for me.

Soon we finished with our lunch with only Charlotte talking about her new business and her choices and preference of fabrics with my 'Yes' 'Ohh' 'Really?' responses. Ethan was intently listening to Charlotte without that dumb girl noticing! And Mr. Furious ??  I don't know. He might be bored listening this out of business talks for him.

 Waiter came with bill and as if everyone on the table except me knows, they didn't put any effort to pay bill and before I knew, Mr. Furious handed a Black Card – I think his credit card to a waiter. I think it's their mutual thing to pay the bills.

Now is the time to leave. Say bye to shortest friendship you ever had Jiyana.

Can Jiyana be able to try so much new things with Charlotte by becoming friends?
