47 - Early Mental Breakdown

20 days! It is not a child's play to form a plan to bring two oblivious love idiots together.

In those 20 days, I finally started my part-time internship under direct supervision of Mr. Kevin Aalbers while adjusting to my college timings.

I was practically being dragged to office by Ethan with not so welcoming jealous stares I receive everyday and those were not surprising anymore.

Then I took cab to college for never ending lectures and the project reports. I have just maintained Alex as my only friend at college. He hadn't run away yet was surprising to me. I have come to one new information that Alex is not into relationship for now as something has happened and he was not intended to be in relationship. I didn't pressure him, he told me in good faith but not detailed information.

Alex give me ride back to office for second half of my part-time internship. I have made few friends so far.

First It's Bobby - our bulky security guard. He seems to enjoy my little shenanigans and always reminds me how late I m. There's this amusement in his eyes he failed to hide when he intimates me the exact minutes I am late for. I am never late beyond 10 minutes though. Ha!!

Then comes Marry - the receptionist. I call her by her last name though - Grace!  I like that!! She never forget to give me her homemade doughnuts in afternoon shift. While we exchange our daily 'How was the day until my precious presense', she informs me about exact number of jealous stares I receive on my back. It has become our daily thing. Our thing!

Third is Ethan's secretary - Lora and reason being she is sweet, engaged to her long time boyfriend Julian and she also doesn't like Ethan!!!

So back to 20 days...

I have made this plan while running to and from college, office and home and with the help of my very good habit of Early Morning. I planned to make Ethan jealous.

Simple, regular, used, not so interesting plan... I know but this is the most worked planned.

Well yeah in novels and movies. But we can always give it a shot, right?

Okay, whatever.

I had everything I needed to put this plan in action. By needed I meant terrified Alex looking like he was having constipation problem (And mind it, those 20 days include my struggle to convince Alex whether it would be emotionally blackmail or warnings and what not.), Charlotte excited and nervous at the same time totally ignoring Alex's distat. And not to forget my personal assistant (he didn't know I call him my assistant) / secret backup / now a driver to Ethan - that is Jack.

Plan is simple, make Ethan jealous to the point where he would either profess his undying love for Charlotte or atleast do something stupid that will give us assurance Ethan has feelings for Charlotte.

We were at this mall. Alex and Charlotte were at the open cafe and can easily be found. I was hiding in the corner near some dummy statue. I so wanted to wear Black coat, black sunglasses with black shoes and that famous detective hat but Jack already warned me not do anything like that and therefore ladies and gentlemen, I just have to convince myself with Black Jacket over my crop top, faded blue jeans and black sneakers.

Jack and Ethan were on their way to the mall. Jack made an excuse that they were meeting someone for initial informal meeting.

I, Alex and Jack were on conference call to communicate. I deliberately excluded Charlotte from this conference call, because I know she will never stop talking.

I was about to yell at Jack but Jack's attract- ahm (clearing thought) Jack's straight voice stopped me.

"We are here Ethan! Drag your head outside your shitty phone please." Jack secretly intimating us to be prepared.

"Urghh why am I here?" God this man! Alex.

"Shut up Alex and concentrate." This was 100th time I warned him, not to forget impatient Charlotte in background.

"Alex I can see you. Why the hell are you so far from Charlotte? Atleast hold her hand you idiot." Alex is totally in disdain. I couldn't believe he was afraid of Ethan!
Ethan??

I turned to know where Ethan and Jack were but adding to my frustration, they were heading to the shopping unit where I definitely didn't want them to go!!!

"And where do you think you guys are going?" I narrowed my eyes at Jack even though he couldn't see me.

"Can't we have a seat in this cafe. I m not going to stand still in this cafe." Said Alex.

"Not you Alex." I said.

"Ethan we are not going there." Jack averted the little child we got there.

"Who is going where?"

"Why do you have to know? Alex shut up." I was experiencing early mental breakdown.

"Ethan we will come next time for your Shopping. Right now we are needed at cafe." With that Jack dragged Ethan from the entrance of that shop.

"Thank you Jack." This was so hard than it seems.

"Couldn't you come up with other plans excluding me from potential beating?" Alex would never shut his mouth.

"You will be needed in other plan or plans if this one wouldn't work. So either you give your 100 percent performance in this one  or be ready to be the part of other."

"What???" Alex screamed over call.

"Wait what?" I forgot about Jack!!

My bad...
