   Paris.

Although I would not actually live here long term, it's one of the many places I can consider to be home. Whenever I come to Paris, I always find something to do. Paris is kind of like an escape for me from the real world. Back home I have to deal with my parents and their drama and in London I have actual responsibilities, but in Paris I get to do whatever I want. I get to be free.

Emma is friends with Jacques Monet, the son of some of the most well known art gallery owners in the world who actually bought pieces that Emma made for the very gallery we are going to visit tonight.

I've seen Emma's work already and she is one of the most talented artists I have ever come across.

"You know what would be fun?" Emma suddenly says after a few minutes of silence.

"What?" I look at her as she elaborates.

"Walking around the streets of Paris wearing ball gowns." she has a huge smile on her face as if she's been thinking about this idea for a while.

"That would be fun. But why ball gowns?" I laugh at the thought of roaming through Paris in ball gowns for absolutely no reason.

I continue to watch Emma who shrugs before speaking again. "I don't know because ball gowns would just be fun. People would look at us like we're mad but it's Paris, we're always here to have fun."

"I like that idea a lot. On the next trip maybe?" I suggest, already excited because of the thought.

"Oh definitely." Emma looks over and smiles at me.

After walking another block we finally reach the gallery. I look up at the lit up sign that reads La galerie de Monet in fancy lettering against a white background. There's a long cue outside of the gallery's doors since it is yet to be opened, but Emma being one of the artists who's art is on display tonight means we go straight inside.

We walk past a few other artists that are already inside as Emma spots Jacques across from where we entered. He walks over, bright smile on his face due to what I assume is the excitement of seeing his friend again for the first time in months.
