Monique
"Ahmad, I get what I did was wrong, I really do, but like I told you I was young. I just want you and the family to forgive me." I begged. "That's all I want."
"Monique, what you did is unforgivable. It doesn't fucking matter how young, old, or how stupid you was thinking, you left your child alone to go be with a nigga who probably doesn't give a fuck about you." Ahmad said.
"Shit, probably? I just seen him out with some girl last weekend when I had Tato had a show in California." Anya said.
"And let's not forget how I heard y'all arguing when I called you Monique, and he simply said that he'll cheat on you again." Amya added.
"OKAY OKAY I GET IT. DAMN!" I yelled.
"Why Monique? Why let some bum ass nigga ruin what you and August had? Now, August is sitting here raising y'all daughter all by himself." Anya said.
"Don't forget about us." Ahmad said.
"And us. That baby needs her mother, and she doesn't have her in her life." Amya said.
"She does have me in her life. I'm here trying to fix things, but y'all are still stuck on the past." I said.
"ALRIGHT EVERYBODY HUSH! THIS SHIT HAS GONE ON LONG ENOUGH." Aunt Monasia yelled.
"Maybe I need to go back to Cali." I said.
"Yeah, maybe you should." My mama said coming through the door.
"Mariah! How dare you-"
"How dare you let Monique into your house when she's clearly unwanted by all of us." My mom said.
"MARIAH MONIQUE WAS FIFTEEN YEARS OLD. ITS BEEN TEN YEARS! TEN FUCKING YEARS. MONIQUE IS NOT PERFECT, AND YOUR DAMN SURE NOT PERFECT BECAUSE IF YOU REMEMBER THE SHIT YOU DID THEN YOU'LL BE QUIET YOURSELF." Monasia said looking at my mama.
"........I don't know how many times y'all expect me to say that I'm sorry, but I'm sorry. I want to fix things with all of y'all, and August. I'll do anything at this point." I begged.
"Just stay away from me." Anya said as she got up and grabbed her keys.
"Me too." Ahmad said.
"I just need time Monique. Just give me time." Amya said.
All three of them walked out the door leaving my mama and my aunt Monasia in the room with each other.
