Sherrie

"Next time, it's gone hurt worse. Do the damn job like I asked you too bitch." He said while lighting up his blunt before walking out the room.

I sat there looking at myself in the mirror. I hated that this had to be done, but I knew that if I didn't get to Monique or August right away, then I was going to have to deal with this every single day.

The time was now 12:34, and I decided to make one of the biggest decisions of my life. I wanted to go see August and Monique. I know I shouldn't be going to see them because I'm assigned to hurt them, but I can't hurt them. I need to warn them before shit gets worse being that Monique is pregnant.

When I grabbed my bag, Taylor walked in the trap and she looked at me.

"Where you going mama?" She asked.

"About my business." I bluntly stated.

"Yeen even gotta lie to me Sherrie. I know the look on your face, and you finna go do something you don't have no business doing." Taylor said. "So what you finna get yourself into?"

I looked around to make sure he wasn't around. I grabbed Taylor's hand, and led her into the office. I locked the door and I sat Taylor down in the seat.

"Ooou mama, if you wanted to fuck you could've said that." Taylor smirked.

"Chill out because it's not even about that. Listen to me, I need to warn Monique and August about what's going on before shit gets out of control." I said.

"Sherrie are you fucking crazy?! Or are you out of your mind? Do you not know the shit that's going to happen when he finds out what you're doing?" Taylor asked me.

I shook my head, and wiped my tears. I couldn't deal with this guilt anymore. Even though me and August wasn't going to work out, I still cared about him and I don't know Monique from a cain of paint, but she's pregnant and I don't want anything to happen to her unborn child.

"I know, but Taylor this shit is deeper than what people think." I said.

"And I get that, but I could've sworn you was so ready to kill Monique so you can have August to yourself. What happened to that?" Taylor asked.

"The guilt. It's eating me up inside, and I don't wanna feel guilty anymore Taylor. When I tell you that this shit is going to get crazier if this shit don't get put to an end. I need to at least warn them or something." I said.

"You playing with fire Sherrie." Taylor said to me.

"Well," I said getting up and grabbing my keys. "In order to play with fire, you have to get burned right? I'll see you later. Lock up."

I walked out the door, and I headed to my car. Once I hopped in my car, I started it up and let it warm up a little bit. Once it warmed up, I pulled off and I headed to Monique and August's house.
