Monique
"Monique, what time are you supposed to be meeting Kai'Lee at Starbucks?" Tiffany asked me.
"In a few minutes. Why?" I asked her.
"Because I want to go with you." She said.
I laughed. "And why all of a sudden you want to go with me? Last time I checked, Kai'Lee was a "hoe" and a "home wrecker"."
Tiffany sighed. "It wasn't her ight? Damn Nique just let me slide with y'all."
"Come on." I said while rolling my eyes. Tiffany had some fucking nerve this morning. All these different mood swings every time somebody try to be nice to her stubborn ass.
When Tiffany was ready, I grabbed my keys and we both headed out the door.
As we walked to my car, I noticed some dude looking at me.
"Tiffany get in the car." I said sternly, and she got in the car quickly. Once she shut the door, I ran to the driver's side of my car and hopped in the car. When I looked up, the man was gone.
"Cous what's wrong?" Tiffany asked me.
I grabbed my phone, and I quickly called August. I'm pretty sure he was with my family at their trap house.
Once the phone dialed 4 times, he picked up the phone.
"Turn da' music down, its Monique....Wassam baybeh'?"
"August there was some creepy dude looking at me earlier."
"WHAT THA' FUCK YA' MEAN CREEPY NIGGA?"
"August I don't know. All I know is me and Tiff are on our way to go meet Kai'Lee, and when I looked up he was just staring at me. Once we got in the car, he was gone."
"You know what he looked like or had on?" I heard Ahmad say in the background.
"He had on all black. Black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes. I couldn't see his skin color or anything....And oh yeah, he was driving a red mustang."
"Ight baybeh, I'ma need for ya' ta' tell yo' homegirl that y'all gotta link anotha' day. Stay low mamas."
"Ok."
"I love you ma."
"I love you too August."
"Lets roll out." August said before hanging up the phone.
I looked at Tiffany, and she held me tightly. I didn't say anything as she held me. My mind was everywhere. I didn't want anything to happen to me or my family. This has Anita's name written all over it.
"Man Tiffany something ain't right." I finally said getting up.
"What you mean?" She asked me.
"I could've sworn I stabbed Anita to the point that she had to die. How in the fuck is that bitch still living?" I said looking around my car to find my phone charger. Once I found it, I plugged up my phone.
