"Babygirl, what's your name? Let me talk to ya', let me buy you a drank." Mariah sung in the kitchen while cooking dinner. Since Jessica was in town, she decided that she wanted to bring the family together to meet Jessica, and her family. Anyae was skeptical at first because of the last family get together that they had, but everything is going to be under control because there won't be any fighting or hassling this time. Or at least she hoped.
"I'ma buy you a drank...Ohhh weee I'ma take you home with me." Mariah sung even louder when Monique, August, Jaylianna, and Jamani came in the door.
"Somebody is in the T-Pain spirit." Monique laughed.
"Oh shit, I'an know you was standing right there. Hey y'all, and hey my little man." Mariah said grabbing Jamani.
"Where pops at?" Monique asked.
"Outside on the balcony. That's where he needs to be before I punch him in his shi- I mean stuff." Mariah said smiling at Jaylianna. Jaylianna went upstairs and decided to go lay down and watch tv in Mariah's and Andre's room.
"Well I'ma go holla' at big dawg, and y'all do what y'all need to do ladies." August said while kissing Monique on the cheek. She rolled her eyes and flipped him off. Before they got to Mariah's, Brooklyn had called August and told him that they needed to meet immediately at her house for a quick meeting. August decided to drive over there while Monique and the kids were in the car, and Monique was disgusted. She didn't know what type of funny business they had shaking, but it had to be stopped.
"What was that for Nique?" Mariah asked while putting the foods in the oven. She was cooking a home cooked meal which consisted of fried chicken, fried okra, macaroni and cheese, green beans, and yams. She had ice cream for dessert because she forgot to get the cake.
"It's that Brooklyn bitch mama. August told me not to worry about it because it ain't nothing like that, but something is telling me he's lying and I swea' fo' God himself, if August Alsina Jr is cheating on me, I'm fucking his shit up and we're over. FOR GOOD." Monique said. Mariah laughed. She just shook her head because she didn't want to ruin the surprise.
"Well Nique, instead of worrying about the bad things that comes out of it, maybe think about the good things. Maybe she's an old friend of his, and their catching up on things." Mariah said. Monique rolled her eyes, and she shrugged her shoulders as she rocked Jamani back to sleep.
"Yeah well whatever it is, I'm going to find out. As a matter of fact, they supposed to be having a meeting with some other people tomorrow night. I'm a drop in and check on them." Monique smirked.
"MONIQUE NO. You are going to be watching Shaniya while Akira and Ahmad go out." Mariah said.
