"Monique, where you trying to go for your birthday?" My mama asked.
"Uhh...Cancun?" I said while laughing.
"I wouldn't mind going to Cancun." Uncle Clay said.
"You wanna go for real Monique?" My mama asked.
I nodded my head, and she smiled. "We'll look into it later on today, but for now I need you to go run some errands for me."
"Maaaa! I'm pregnant!" I whined.
"I said the same thing when I was pregnant with you and I still ran errands for my mama." My mama laughed while writing stuff down.
"Here," she said. "Go to Walmart and get me those things. It's not even that much."
I looked at the list, and then I grabbed my keys. "Ima get me something to eat while I'm out too."
"That's fine." My mama said.
"Ayo Tiffany, you wanna ride with me to Walmart?" I asked her.
"Nahh, I'm tired." She said, and I laughed.
"She know damn well she ain't tired." I mumbled.
"Oh Monique, August tried to call you earlier but you were sleep, but he said that he's taking you out tonight." My mama said.
"Oh shooooot na!" I said.
"Girl gone head." My mama said.
I walked out the door, and went outside to go to my car. Once I got inside, I tried to call Kai'Lee. It went straight to voicemail. That's weird. I haven't heard from her since she came by my house. I'll try to call her later.
August was calling me, and so I connected my phone to my car and I answered it as I drove off.
"Yuuuur!"
"Wassam lil baybeh, whatchu' doin?"
"I'm getting ready to go to Walmart. My moms told me you taking me out tonight."
"Oh yeah fasho! We ain't have a date in I'ono how long. Thought it would be nice."

"Dats' fa me to know, and fa ya to find out mama."
