10 years later and things have changed. Monique and August now have a 10 year old daughter name Jaylianna Chanel Alsina. But Monique and August are not together anymore.
August hasn't seen Monique since she had her baby. Monique checked herself out of the hospital, and she left her daughter there by herself. Monique didn't say bye or anything. She just left.
Monique lives with Spazz in California leaving August to raise their daughter on his own. It's a hard job to do, but with Monique's family, they get it done.
August still can't believe that Monique slept with Spazz. No, August and Spazz didn't know each other long, but they were developing a brothership that's couldn't be broken. Well, in August's eyes it couldn't be broken.
"Daddy, where are my shoes? Julie and Ms. Sherrie are coming over in a few minutes and I don't have my shoes." Jaylianna said.
"If ya' look down, then maybe you'll find tha' shoes mama." August smiled, and it made Jaylianna smile too.
Ding dong
"DOORBELL!" Jaylianna said as she ran to the door, but then she stopped because she remembered what August told her about opening doors.
"I'll get it." August said opening the door to see Mariah at the door.
"Grandma!!!!!!!" Jaylianna said hugging Mariah.
"Jay, I told you that make me seem old when call me that." Mariah laughed.
"Oh hush grandma." Jaylianna laughed. Once she saw Ms. Sherrie, she ran up to her and she hugged her.
"Mmmmm. Hey Jaylianna." Ms. Sherrie said. She opened the door for Jaylianna to get in the car to play with her friend.
"I'll come pick her up tomorrow morning." August said to Sherrie, and she nodded and smiled as she went back into her car and drove off.
Sherrie and August messed around a few times, but it all stopped when Sherrie wanted a relationship and August ain't down with any relationship. Ever since Monique cheated, August turned into a whole different person.
He hasn't been with anyone for 10 years. He's been staying low and taking care of his daughter and making sure the money is right.
"What you doin' hea' ma?" August asked Mariah.
"I can't see my son?" She asked him while laughing, but then August laugh faded away.
"Look August, I know what Monique did was wrong. Trust and believe I know it's wrong. But you can't sit up here and act like you don't miss her or let alone love her. You've changed ever since she left August. No matter what, I love you August." Mariah said kissing his cheek, and patting him on the back.
