"Wow, this is amazing to watch," Katara gasped as they lay against a large rock viewing a huge meteor shower.

"Kind of makes you realize how insignificant we are." Sokka said, staring into the endless sky above.

"Eh," Toph scoffed, "You've seen nothing once, you've seen it 1,000 times."

Everyone gasped as one particular meteor lit up brighter than the others, flashing across the sky and lighting up the world as if it were a miniature sun.

"Oh man!" Sokka sat up, "You've never not seen anything like this."

The meteor continued to lower, trailed by a bright blue flame as it flew right overhead the group. It smashed into the ground with enormous force, it felt like the entire earth was shaking. Everyone stood in horror as a thick black plume of smoke puffed into the air.

"We should go check on that." Y/n said, staring at the glowing ashes rising into the air.

Everyone agreed and quickly clambered onto Appa. They made their way over to the fire to spot a small town, smaller than the fire itself.

"The fires going to destroy that town," Katara cried

"Not if we can stop it," Aang replied, landing Appa next to the point of impact.

"There's a creek over there," Y/n said while everyone but Katara jumped off of Appa, "We can bend the water onto the fire," Katara snapped the reins of Appa and the two waterbenders flew to the small river. Each of them lifted as much water as they could handle into the air above. The pair flew over the scene to see Aang and Toph had created a large trench around the fire to keep it from spreading, while Sokka was frantically trying to put out some of the embers, but failing miserably as he did so.

The girls flew over the fire, creating rain from their large bubbles of water, and effectively putting out most of the flames. Any stragglers were crushed by Toph's rocks or blown out by a mixture of air and water from Aang. The cool air created by Aangs bending caused all the water in the impact sight to turn to snow and ice that Y/n immediately began skating around as Aang congratulated the team.

Y/n glided over towards Sokka, who was much more dower than the others who were also giggling in the snow.

"Why so down?" Y/n asked while twirling around him, she had missed skating around large patches of ice like this.

Sokka stared at the others who were now turning Aang into a living snowman, "Do you think i'm special?"

"I think everyone is special," Y/n smiled as she came to a halt in front of him, "Why?"

Sokka shook his head, "No reason."

"These people have no idea how close they were to getting toasted last night," Aang said while sitting down next to Y/n. The five kids had made their way into town the next morning, and were able to find an amazing breakfast stand. One thing Y/n liked about the Fire Nation is that even though they were in hiding they usually able to find good food, unlike in the Earth Kingdom where they had spent weeks wandering through wasteland with noting but the clothes on their back.

"The worst thing about being in disguise is we don't get the hero worship anymore," Toph quipped, "I miss the love."

"Don't worry Toph," Y/n said as she stuffed her face, "We'll get all the worship in the world once we defeat the Fire Lord."

Toph grinned, "Thats true, though it would be nice to get some appreciation."

"Boo-hoo," Sokka grumbled from his seat at the ledge of the walkway, "Poor heroes."
