A few days had passed since Y/n had met with the professor, and since then she had spent as much time as possible translating her scrolls. It was late morning, and the house was still and silent as Y/n lay spread out on the raised platform while working on her scrolls. Across from her lay Sokka, who was laying in a similar matter while working on his feeble attempts at drawing Appa. Toph lay on her back in the corner, allowing Momo to lick her feet clean.

"We found a printer to make out posters!" Katara shouted as she and Aang bursted through the front door.

"Hey!" Sokka sat up from his 'art' "I thought designing the lost Appa poster was my job." Sokka held up a drawing that resembled a potato with horns, "I've been working all day on my Appa."

"Sokka the arrow is on Appa's head." Aang said while Y/n suppressed a giggle.

"This is his head." Sokka grumbled.

"Why are feet coming out of it?" Katara asked, stepping forward to examine the picture.

"Those are his horns!" Sokka shouted.

"Horns?" Y/n laughed, crawling closer to the others, "It looks like a rotting potato."

"I haven't seen him in a while ok?" Sokka snatched the poster out of Y/n's hands.

"It looks just like him to me." Toph said, not bothering to sit up.

"Thank you, I worked really- Why do you feel the need to do that?"

"Let's just stick with the professional version." Katara decided, leafing though Sokka's other 'masterpieces'

"Ha look at this one!" Y/n laughed, holding up one of Sokka's worst drawings while the others joined in on her laughter. Sokka snatched the parchment from her hands and tore it up with a loud grumble.

"Come on!" Aang shouted, practically bouncing off the walls, "Lets get busy!"

Aang handed out stacks of posters to each of his friends before quickly jumping on his glider and flying out the door, leaving a trail of posters behind him.

After a few hours, Y/n's eyes began to strain from staring at the parchment for so long. Deciding she should take a break, Y/n carefully rolled up her scrolls and wrapped them in her spare set of Water Tribe clothes before gently placing them in her backpack. After a moment of staring into oblivion trying to decide what to do next, She spotted Sokka and Katara sitting at the center table and made her way over to them

Y/n sat at the end of the center table between the Southerners who were playing an Earth Kingdom game she had never seen before. She watched them play for a few minutes, but became increasingly bored due to the fact that she had no idea what they were doing.

"I just finished dropping all the leaflets." Aang walked into the house, a new pep was in his step, "Has anyone come in with news about Appa?"

"It's only been a day," Katara said, placing down another tile, "Just he patient."

Aang sat down across from Y/n and mirrored her bored expression as they watched the siblings play a game neither of them understood. After a moment there was a gentle knock on the door, Aang almost flew through the roof in excitement.

"Wow you're right! Patience really pays off!" Aang sprinted to the door and tore it open, revealing Joo Dee who was standing on the other side. Y/n slyly checked her bag to make sure the scrolls were completely concealed.

"Hello Aang, and Katara, and Sokka, and Y/n, and Toph." Joo Dee stepped into the house while the kids gathered around her.

"What happened to you?" Sokka asked, Joo Dee cocked her head.
