After about half an hour of walking, the group was finally approaching the huge wall. It had to be about two hundred feet tall. It was made out of thick slabs of stone and towered over everything around them.

"Hey what's that?" Y/n pointed up to an orange blip in the sky moving towards them.

"It's Aang!" Sokka replied staring at Aang in surprise.

"Aang!" Katara stepped forwards as Aang landed in front of them, "What are you doing here? I thought you were looking for Appa."

"I was, but something stopped me. Something big." Aang turned towards the wall and motioned for the rest to follow. Within minutes everyone was clustered onto a rock at the base of the wall, Aang and Toph earthbending it up the side.

"Now what's so big that Appa has to wait?" Sokka said crossing his arms and leaning over the edge of their rock.

"That." Aang pointed at something in the distance that resembled a huge drill. If put on its tip, the machine would probably be as tall, if not taller than, the wall. The front half was spinning at a rapid speed as it slowly drove towards the outer wall of Ba Sing Se. A triangle of smaller machines drove along side it, all releasing plumes of dust and smoke into the air as they moved.

"We made it to Ba Sing Se and we're still not safe." Ying cried, "No one is."

"What are you people doing here?" A man shouted from behind them, Y/n turned to see a barefooted soldier dressed in all green and gold. He wore a thick metal helmet with a small green pompom on top, "Civilians aren't allowed on the wall."

"I'm the avatar." Aang stepped forward, "Take me to whoever's in charge."

The soldier quickly complied and brought them to a slightly enclosed room at the highest point of the southern side of the wall. In the room was one lone wooden desk, where the general sat. He wore huge green armor that made him double the size of anyone else there, and a long green cloak on top, giving him an extremely clunky look.

"It is an honor to welcome you to the outer wall young avatar." "But your help is not needed."

"Not needed?" Aang asked

"Not. Needed. I have the situation under control." The general stood up and brought them outside where dozens of soldiers stood ready to earthbend large boulders over the edge at the machine whirring towards them, "I assure you, the Fire Nation can not penetrate this wall. Many have tried to break through it, but none have succeeded."

"What about the Dragon of The West? He got in." Said Y/n with a smug grin, her boring history lessons were finally paying off.

"Well," The general stuttered, "Technically, yes. But he was quickly expunged."

"Yeah cause a 600 day siege is quick." Y/n scoffed.

"Nevertheless, that's why the city is named Ba Sing Se. It's the impenetrable city." The general turned away from the lookout and walked towards the group, "They don't call it Na Sing Se! That means penetrable city." He laughed. He sounded like a lemur-monkey.

"Yeah thanks for the tour." Toph said flatly, "But we still got the drill problem."

"Not for long." The general threw up his hand at the kids and walked to the edge of the wall, "To stop it i've sent an elite platoon of Earthbenders called the Terra Team."

"that's a good group name. Very catchy." Sokka said placing his hand on his chin.

The kids moved to the edge of the wall to get a better view of the Terra Team attempting to take down the drill. It was a weak move, the boulders were like pebbles to the metal monster and bounced right off of it.
