"General Fong's base will serve as the launching point for the attack. In exactly two months, the army and navy will invade the Fire Nation on the Day of Black Sun." General How explained. It had been just over two days since the boys and Toph had set off on their journeys, and now Katara and Y/n were sitting with the council of five to work on invasion plans. The room was huge with high vaulted ceiling's and tall pillars in place for walls. The girls sat on the Northern end of the giant map covering the floor, across from the council who were seated at a long curved desk at the Southern side.
How moved small green stone pieces as a visual for the plan, but was quickly stopped by Momo who jumped off of Y/n's shoulder and into the center of the map, knocking the tiny statues over.
"Or we could send in Momo to do some damage!" Katara laughed, How wasn't amused, "'Cause, the... sorry."
General How clenched his fists, earthbending the figures back into place, causing Momo to jump up in shock before running to Katara's shoulder, "All we need is the Earth King's seal in order to execute the plan." He placed a scroll onto a stone slab and bent it across the map towards the girls.
"I'll get these scrolls to him right away." Y/n said, picking up the scrolls as her and Katara stood up, "Thank you, General How." The girls bowed before exiting the meeting room.
"You go get those scrolls to the king," Katara decided as they walked through the streets of the upper ring "I'll go home and get started on dinner."
Y/n nodded as Momo jumped over to her shoulder. The two girls split off and walked in two different directions.
Y/n now walked alone through the beautiful upper ring streets, once she got over the fact that this place reminded her so much of home, Y/n was able to really appreciate the beauty of the upper ring. Eventually, she passed a small shopping district, at the top of which was a beautiful dark green building with large open doors and windows and a rectangular fountain in the courtyard. There was a black sign with two golden dragons framing it, on the sign were the worlds "Jasmine Dragon Teahouse" in large golden lettering. Y/n had heard people talking about this new tea house, supposedly it was the best in the entire city. Y/n turned and walked up the steps to the building, she deserved a cup.
"What do you say Momo?" Y/n scratched his chin, "Yeah I think we deserve some tea too."
"Table for two please." Y/n said to the woman standing at the door who turned to lead her into the building.
"Uncle!" A familiar voice shouted just as Y/n stepped through the threshold, "I need two jasmine, one green, and one lychee." The voice came from a boy about her age, he had decently long shaggy black hair and sounded so familiar, but Y/n couldn't see his face.
"I'm brewing as fast as I can!" Another familiar voice shouted from the kitchen. Y/n stopped in her tracks and squinted her eyes to see into the kitchen. But there was no need to try to make out the man in the kitchen, the boy with the black hair turned just enough so that Y/n could see his profile, which included a large scar covering the majority of the left side of his face. Y/n's stomach sank, she froze for a moment, unsure of what to do. Does she attack? They didn't seem too threatening right now. Should she tell the king? Yes. She would never forgive herself if these two tried to pull something that she could have stopped.
Y/n turned on her heel so quickly that she almost fell over as she began to sprint to the palace. Despite the distance she was able to make it up the steps and through the front door in just about ten minutes. Y/n was exhausted as she burst through the doors to the throne room, but the king wasn't there. Luckily, Suki and two other Kyoshi warriors were.
"Thank goodness you're here Suki!" Y/n panted, "Something terrible is going on." Y/n inhaled quickly before continuing, "The Fire Nation has infiltrated the city. I just saw Prince Zuko and his uncle! We have to tell the Earth King right away!"
