"I think I see a cave below" Aang said, poking his head out of the small cloud Y/n and Katara were bending around Appa.

"Shh! Keep quiet." Sokka scolded, clamping his hands over Aang's mouth. Once landed Sokka skid off of Appa and jumped onto a rock as if he were some spy, "Great job with the cloud camo, but next time let's disguise ourselves as the kind of cloud who knows how to keep its mouth shut."

"Yeah we wouldn't want a bird to hear us chatting up there and turn us in." Toph grumbled as the others made their way towards Sokka.

"Hey! we're in enemy territory. Those are enemy birds." Sokka said as a large billed bird jumped on his head and nipped at his hair.

The others laughed at Sokka before turning around to make their way into the cave, Y/n pulling her hood up while doing so. It was a cavernous cave, big enough to comfortably hold Appa as he sprawled out on his stomach. Y/n didn't like being in a cave, it reminded her of Ba Sing Se.

"Well this is it." Sokka declared, "This is how we'll be living until the invasion begins. Hiding in cave after cave... after cave after cave..."

"Great sales pitch." Y/n mumbled while digging her food in the dirt.

"Sokka we don't need to be cave people." Katara said, "What we need is some new clothes."

"Yeah," Aang agreed, "Blending is is better than hiding out. If we get fire nation disguises we'll be just as safe as we would be hiding in a cave."

"I am getting pretty hot with all these layers." Y/n added. Though she had stripped her Water Tribe clothes of any unnecessary furs and pelts, the fabric alone was much thicker than even the cloak she wore, which also attributed to the intense heat.

"Plus they have real food out there," Toph said as she punched the wall, causing dozens of small white maggots to come tumbling out, "Does anyone wanna sit in the dirt and eat cave-hoppers?"

"Let's get some new clothes." Sokka decided.

The five made their way through the baron land and towards the town, Y/n making sure that her hood was on tight. The Fire Nation land looked nothing like the lush Earth Kingdom or the icy Water Tribes, instead the ground was void of any plants. Hot puffs of steam poured out of little holes dotted around. Eventually they found a small shack with about 10 clotheslines filled with drying clothes.

"I don't know about this." Aang said hesitantly, "These clothes belong to somebody."

"Yes and soon they will belong to us, I want that top!" Y/n said, scurrying out of their hiding spot.

"I call the silk robe!" Katara shouted, chasing after Y/n. The two ran through the clothing racks, picking out their favorite pieces, Aang, Toph and Sokka quickly following behind them.

Y/n searched for the lightest weight clothing she could find in hopes of cooling herself down in some way or another. Eventually she settled on a bright red halter top with gold trimming, and some loose silk pants with a tight gold waistline. The pants had a slit from her outer knee to ankles - where it was held down with more gold cuffing - to allow for some air flow. She was even able to find a nice hair covering. One by one as everyone sprinted back to camp with their new outfits, each more than ready to take of their dirty old ones.
