Most nights in the Malfoy house were peaceful, aside from the occasions that Cassiopeia had decided to get herself into some type of trouble. Tonight was a night of chaos but to everyone's surprise, Cassiopeia wasn't the one in the spot light.

"This would be a lot more amusing if we could actually hear what they were arguing about instead of muffled shouting." Valerie announced with an annoyed sigh. Cassiopeia reached into her pocket and pulled out an extendable ear that Fred had given her. Everyone raised an eyebrow at her.

"What? I like putting my nose where it doesn't belong." She told them while she quickly set it up.

"I don't think this is the best idea, guys." Veronica told her siblings. Scorpius rolled his eyes at her.

"No one said you had to listen, but we're bored." Scorpius told her with a shrug.

"They're only arguing because Cas wants her boyfriend or whatever to move in. It's nothing interesting." Veronica defended herself while crossing her arms.

"Can you two seriously shut the fuck up?" Cassiopeia asked before Scorpius could respond.

"Feisty. I like it." Lysander told her with a smirk. Cassiopeia rolled her eyes at him but couldn't keep her smile hidden. The five of them became quiet and began listening to the argument between Draco and Ellie.

"Honestly, Draco, your parenting is really shitty. I've stayed quiet and tried not to overstep. You allow your children to hang out with horrible influences. You are completely over looking your 16 year old daughter going to a different country and getting married by letting him move in. Your son is dating another guy. You literally allow your kids to walk all over you. I was under the impression that we'd be making more decisions together once i moved in but i was obviously wrong about that." Ellie said, angrily. Cassiopeia looked over at her brother and noticed the hurt look on his face and gave him a sympathetic smile.

"We are not married, Ellie. When it comes to my children, It's my decision and my decision only. Im sorry, but i refuse to control every single aspect of my children's life like you do. But I can guarantee you one thing, love. I will not tolerate you belittling my son for simply being in love. Don't let it fucking happen again. We're done here." Draco said, clearly angry.

"Really, Draco? You're completely okay with your son dating a guy? You're unbelievable. Maybe if you were just a little bit more controlling, you wouldn't have to let your 16 year old's so called husband move in." Ellie argued.

"Im perfectly happy with the fact that my son is unapologetically himself and loves whoever the fuck he wants to. Like I said, we're done here. I've made my decision and it's final." Draco replied. Scorpius allowed a small smile to slide across his face.

"You alright, dude?" Lysander asked while Cassiopeia rolled up the extendable ear and put it back into her pocket. Scorpius simply nodded in response before turning towards Valerie and Veronica. Both Draco and Ellie had entered the room, but Scorpius had already began to speak.

"Your mother is a homophobic bitch." He simply told the two before getting up and leaving the room. Draco almost instantly turned to Cassiopeia and held his hand out.

"Give it to me." He told her. Cassiopeia let out an annoyed sigh and took the extendable ear out of her pocket before giving it to Draco.

"So, did you guys talk about it or was Scorp's sexuality the hot topic of the day?" Cassiopeia asked her father.

"You already know he can move in, stop asking dumb questions." Draco told her while rolling his eyes.

"You know, mum, Draco does have a point. You do tend to control the majority of mine and Veronica's lives." Valerie informed her mother.

"Valerie, im not in the mood." Ellie told her. Veronica sighed before she began speaking.

"I agree. Mum, i love you and all, but we're teenagers, we would like a little bit of freedom. And maybe a curfew later than 8pm. Maybe you two should try sitting down and making a set of rules that you both agree on that aren't as strict." Veronica suggested.

"Definitely a curfew later than 8pm." Cassiopeia agreed. Draco and Ellie both nodded at the same time.

"I think we'll be able to work something out, right?" Draco asked Ellie. She sighed but nodded.

"Come on, Ly, lets go make room for your stuff in my room." Cassiopeia said while getting up and grabbing his hand.

"We have to share a room? Ew, gross." He told her with a smirk. She crossed her arms and glared at him.

"I really can't stand you sometimes." She replied. He smiled at her.

"Is that really the best you got?" He asked her with a laugh.

"That's what she said after a night with you." She replied before making her way to the stairs. He shook his head and quickly followed her.
