The last month dragged by for Victoire. She wasn't use to being in bed all the time like she had been and needless to say, she didn't enjoy a single bit of it. The whole Weasley and Potter clan helped her and Teddy out so much the last few weeks, which made the situation more bearable. Now that most of them had returned to Hogwarts and her apartment wasn't filled like it had been, there was an emptiness she felt that she also disliked. To say the least, she was becoming extremely uncomfortable and anxious for the babies to get here. She sighed as she got out of bed and made her way towards all the noise. She peeked into the 2nd bedroom and giggled at the sight of Teddy and James making fun of Albus trying to put a crib together. She rested her hand on her belly and smiled before she followed the scent of food to the kitchen.
"It smells absolutely amazing in here. I think you two finally got the hang of this cooking thing." Victoire said, making her presence known to Molly and Dominique.
"I was about to bring you your breakfast." Dominique told her with a frown. Victoire gave her a small smile before taking a piece of bacon from the plate her sister was holding.
"Im actually not feeling so great this morning, my back has been killing me." Victoire told her as she ate the bacon.
"Wanna take a warm shower? That might help." Dominique told her. Victoire smiled at her and nodded. "Great, I'll help you." Dominique said as she lead Victoire to the bathroom. Dominique turned the shower on as Victoire shut the door and undressed. Dominique helped her older sister step into the shower as Victoire muttered a small thank you.
"I don't understand why it's hurting so bad. I haven't had any back issues until now." Victoire groaned. Dominique gave her a sympathetic smile as she grabbed her body wash.
"Turn around. Where does it hurt?" She asked her sister. Victoire turned around, her back now facing her sister.
"My lower back. Teddy has been giving me back rubs since early this morning." She informed her younger sister. Dominique playfully rolled her eyes.
"Im sure I give better back rubs than Ted." Dominique jokingly told her, causing the woman to laugh.
"Honestly, so far D, i have to agree." Victoire admitted with a laugh. She let out an exasperated sigh and squeezed her eyes shut. "D, I don't think this is helping. I want to get out. I need to lay down." Dominique nodded although her sister couldn't see her and turned her back towards the running water as Victoire squeezed the young girls hand.
"Are you okay? You're worrying me, love." Dominique said as she turned the water off and grabbed a towel. "Let me dry you off. You don't need to be bending down." Dominique told her. Victoire nodded as she began to cry. With the assistance of her sister, she got out of the shower and got dressed.
"Why is the floor wet? Why are you w- holy shit, your water broke." Dominique realized as she continued to help her sister. "Teddy!" Dominique yelled as she opened the bathroom door. Almost instantly, Teddy was in view.
"It's time. My water broke." Victoire informed him.
"Get her to the hospital now. I'll gather everything and bring it up there and I'll tell our parents and yours. Just go." Dominique told him. He nodded as he picked Victoire up bridal style and carried her towards the door of the apartment.
"Our hospital bag is in the nursery with the baby's carseat. Bring both. Thank you." Teddy called out as he left.
"Holy shit it's happening." Molly said as she watched the two leave the apartment.
"James, call Grandma and Grandpa. Al, call your parents. I'll call mine. Molly, text the group chat. I'll load up their stuff in my car and then I'll help you guys finish in the nursery and clean up the kitchen." Dominique instructed everyone as she scrolled through her contacts.
