Everyone except the Potter's had arrived at the Malfoy's. Scorpius absent mindedly kept checking the time. He honestly didn't know why he was so nervous. He didn't care about what other people thought about him. Or at least that's what he kept telling himself.
"If you don't stop shaking your leg, im going to punch you in your throat." Dominique told him. Scorpius instantly stopped shaking his leg and let out a sigh.
"I would definitely love to see that." Lysander butted in.
"Im sorry." Scorpius apologized. As the words left his mouth, the door bell sounded through out the house. Draco dismissed himself from the group and went to greet the new guests. Scorpius got up and followed him. Draco opened the door to reveal the Potter family. Albus instantly spotted Scorpius and ran inside to engulf the boy into a tight hug.
"I missed you so much." Albus told him. Scorpius instantly relaxed at the sound of his voice and smiled.
"I missed you too, Albus." He told him quietly. Albus pulled away from the hug and gave him a quick kiss before he took his hand in his and started towards the living room.
"Im still shocked to see that you two found a way to work this last break up out." Louis announced as soon as he noticed the two love birds.
"Im not. These two will conquer everything." Rose butted in with a smile.
"Oh my goodness, I just naturally assumed you and Rose were together the other day. Im so sorry, I didn't mean to make any assumptions." Ellie instantly apologized. Scorpius' face lit up.
"No hard feelings." Scorpius replied with a smile. He sat back down in his previous seat while Albus stared at Dominique with his arms crossed. She sighed before getting up and sitting next to Veronica.
"I have to go finish up in the kitchen. Could you give me a hand, Cassiopeia?" Ellie asked. Helping was the last thing Cassiopeia wanted to do while all her friends were over. To keep the peace, she got up and made her way into the kitchen with a smile.
"Uh, i guess I'll start on the dishes." Cassiopeia announced with a sigh. A few moments of silence passed by before Ellie began speaking.
"I was 21." She said as she finished slicing a carrot. "How old were you?" She asked Cassiopeia. As much as she hated to admit it, Cassi knew exactly what she was talking about.
"It was right before school started so, I was 15. It was honestly the best back to school party ever and it turned into such a tragedy so fast." Cassiopeia explained to her.
"It was Valentine's day. My ex-husband and I had already filed for divorce and he was in the process of moving out. He came to get the last bit of his things and, well, you know." She started but stopped for a moment. "Valerie was actually conceived that night. I still haven't got justice for what he did to me." She continued with a sigh. Cassiopeia stopped doing the dishes and turned to face her.
"Im sorry." Cassiopeia told her. Ellie gave her a smile. "And im sorry for the way I've been acting towards you. And while im at it, im sorry for all the future rule breaking I'll be doing." Cassiopeia quickly added.
"Oh, im not worried about that. I've done worse. I lost my father when I was young and I literally put my mother's boyfriends through hell. Your reaction to my girls and I has been blissful compared to when i was younger. As for the rules, it's bound to happen." Ellie explained with a laugh. She pulled out her wand and within moments, the dishes began doing themselves. "Go hang out with your friends. I just wanted to to get through to you a bit and let you know that I'm not your enemy." Ellie added. Cassiopeia smiled and ran out of the kitchen before Ellie could change her mind.
