The first month of Victoria Malfoy's life had flew by, at least for Draco it did. If it weren't for Cassiopeia, he wasn't quite sure how he would have been able to handle a newborn and work while having three teenagers to worry about all at the same time. He had decided that tonight was the perfect night to allow everyone to meet the youngest Malfoy so he decided to throw a little get together. Although everyone had already arrived, he was still in the kitchen finishing up a few different dishes for his guests.
"Hey, da- i mean Draco, uh would it be okay if Fred and Louis spent the night?" Valerie asked alongside Veronica. Draco smiled before looking up at the two girls and nodding.
"I am perfectly fine with them spending the night and im also perfectly fine with the term dad if that's what you two prefer." Draco said, earning a smile from the two. Before they could respond, Cassi had entered the kitchen with a crying baby in her arms.
"Everyone has met her. What are you doing and why the fuck is Grandpa here?" Cassi asked him as she started to make a bottle.
"Watch your mouth, Cassiopeia. I just finished making a few things and he's here because he claims he wants to be apart of his grandchildren's lives or some shit. You're safe, I promise I will literally kill him if he tries anything." Draco answered her. Before Cassi could respond, Ellie entered the kitchen and rolled her eyes at the sight.
"Im going out. I'll be back later. Maybe. Have fun with whatever this is." She told Draco. He shook his head in disbelief at the woman.
"This seriously needs to stop. You've gone out every single night since we've been home from the hospital. It's getting ridiculous." Draco replied. Ellie rolled her eyes at him.
"You need to mind your own business. Im not going to be tied down with a baby. That's what older siblings are for. Toodles." Ellie said before disappearing just as fast as she appeared. Veronica rolled her eyes as she watched her mother leave.
"Hopefully she stays gone. She has always been a horrible mother. We were practically raised by our grandparents. She made up a horrible story about our father to get custody. If it weren't for our grandparents, we would have never known our father. They got sick shortly before we moved here, if it weren't for you, we'd be raising ourselves. Going out was always more important than us." Veronica explained. Valerie sighed as she left the kitchen. "Im an idiot. She doesn't like it when i bring the three of them up." Veronica said as she followed after her sister. Draco turned to face Cassi and smiled at the sight of her feeding the baby who was now falling asleep.
"You have been such a huge help to me this past month, Cas, and I don't think I've even thanked you a single time. All three of you have been a huge help but you, you have helped me so much and I appreciate you for that. Thank you." Draco said. Cassi smiled up at him and shrugged before she sat the bottle down on the counter and smiled down at her sleeping baby sister.
"Turns out, i enjoy it." Cassi told him with a smile. "You've done so much for Scorp and I. You've sacrificed a lot for us. You've done this by yourself once before. Even with my help, i can tell you're still exhausted and have too much on your plate. It's the least i can do for you, Dad." Cassi quickly added as she looked back up at him. He smiled and pulled her into a side hug.
"You're going to make a wonderful mother one day, love." Draco told her as he left a kiss on top of her head. He gently took the baby from her arms and smiled. "I'll go lay her down and check on Valerie. I promise i'll join everyone right after." He told her as he left the kitchen and headed towards the stairs. Cassiopeia sighed as she took a fresh cookie from the counter and went back to the living room.
"Where did Dad's so called wife go?" Scorpius asked her as she sat back down next to Lysander.
"Don't know, don't care. She goes out every night. That's why I've been helping with Tori so much." Cassi told him with a shrug. Lysander smiled at her.
