Albus still hadn't spoke to his father since their disagreement. He felt awkward and the thought of that conversation made him anxious. He had just returned home from the Malfoy residence so he could prepare for his first day at his new job but he had noticed a few cars parked in the driveway. He sighed and knew he was about to walk into a full house. He slowly made his way to the door and dreadfully entered the house. He greeted his family members and went to the kitchen without speaking too much. He opened the fridge and scanned every item but nothing looked appealing to him. He took out his phone and sighed. He scrolled through his contacts until he landed on a certain number.

"I just need to take the edge off. That's it. It'll be fine." He thought to himself as his finger hovered over the number.

"Don't let mum see you leaving the fridge open like that." Lily told her older brother, sneaking up behind him. He jumped and quickly locked his phone and closed the fridge before turning towards her.

"Damn, i was so close." He thought to himself.

"Can you not sneak up on me like that? What do you want?" He asked her. She shrugged before hopping up on the counter to sit down.

"You still haven't talked to Dad." She reminded him. He rolled his eyes at her. He set his phone on the counter and shook his head.

"Can you just mind your fucking business for a change?" Albus asked her rudely. Lily crossed her arms and glared at him before hopping off of the counter.

"You're a jerk, you know that? I get it, you're struggling but you don't have to be a dick towards the people that care about you." Lily told him, clearly hurt, before passing her mother to rejoin the rest of her family. Ginny looked at Albus with a questioning look.

"What's going on? What was that about?" Ginny asked him. Albus sighed in frustration.

"Can everyone just leave me the fuck alone? Everyone just needs to mind their own fucking business!" He shouted out of anger before he left his mother alone in the kitchen.

"You okay, Albus?" Hermione asked her nephew. Albus rolled his eyes. Before he could respond, Ginny had rejoined the small group and handed Albus his phone.

"Scorpius is calling." She told him. He silenced the call and slid the phone back into his pocket. He looked around the room and noticed the closest people to him were there. He sighed before shaking his head.

"No. Im not okay. Im far from okay. But you guys wouldn't understand." He finally admitted before sitting down in between Victoire and Teddy.

"Try us. What's going on?" Ron asked his nephew. Albus shrugged before responding.

"Im struggling to stay sober and that argument, Dad, didn't help at all just so you know. I wasn't even out partying the night before. I still have my sobriety and I start my new job tomorrow." Albus explained with a sigh.

"Then why didn't you just explain that to me instead of arguing with me?" Harry asked him. Albus shrugged in reply.

"Because in a way you're right. Im going to end up failing Scorpius. Im trying to find any and every excuse to get high. Im going to end up fucking up again and ruining everything like i always do." Albus explained trying to hide the fact his eyes were quickly filling up with tears. Victoire quickly pulled the young boy into a tight hug.

"He was actually with a group of friends that he found that's sober that night, Dad. It's kind of like a support group for him. Just in case you're still wondering why he was out all night." James butted in.

"Why didn't you come to us about any of this? I mean, it's great that you have friends that are going through what you're going through but you know you can always talk to us about this stuff too. Its better than holding it in and blowing up like you just did." Ginny explained to him. Albus sighed as he rested his head on Victoire's shoulder and poked her slightly bloated belly as he pictured what his new baby nephew or niece was going to look like.

"I know and im sorry to both you and Lily." Albus apologized quickly.

"It's fine, Albie. I love you either way." Lily told him with a smile.

"And you have us. We may not know exactly what you're going through, but we're always here for you, Al." Rose told him with a smile. He smiled at her and nodded.

"I know and im sorry for hiding this from you all. Honestly I've just been anxious. Looking for places with Scorpius and starting a new job is just making me overwhelmed with so many emotions." Albus admitted honestly. Hermione laughed at his confession.

"Remember when we moved in together, Ron?" Hermione asked her husband. Ron rolled his eyes at her.

"I was a wreck. We both were but i was worse. I remember i almost broke up with her at one point but your dad talked some sense into me. It's a big step in a relationship." Ron explained to him. Albus laughed at the thought of the memory of the two.

"You almost what?" Hugo asked his father, clearly shocked.

"You should try starting a new relationship, moving in together, and having a baby all at the same time." Stella told her brother in law, earning a laugh from James.

"It was an offer i wanted to take back instantly and kept asking her if she was sure but im glad it happened." James said with a smile.

"Remember when Teddy and I moved in together? He kept canceling our meetings with our realtor and the only place we looked at for the longest time was the worst place imaginable. All because he was anxious." Victoire outed her boyfriend. Teddy laughed and shook his head.

"If I remember correctly, the meetings I didn't cancel, you managed to get us out of them or made it where we were super late and had to reschedule." Teddy replied. Victoire giggled at the memory.

"Your father never took off from work to look at places with me. He was the one that wanted to move in together and after agreeing, he avoided the conversation completely." Ginny told her son with a laugh.

"Point is, you might be excited and happy to make that next step but you're still going to be anxious and question your decision no matter how happy and excited you are or how in love you are." Harry explained to him. Albus smiled at his family.

"Thanks guys. Im really glad im not the only one feeling like this." Albus simply said. He smiled at Victoire's belly before he leaned down and gave it a quick kiss.

"Aside from my mum, you are going to have the best mum. She's the most comforting person i know." Albus whispered to her belly. Victoire laughed.

"You're going to have the best uncle too, little bean." She joined in on the conversation. Albus smiled at her and sat up before scanning the room for his baby niece, who was currently being held by Hugo.

"Im holding Ophelia next." Albus stated before leaning back. He looked at the slightly crowded room and smiled.

"I love these people so much." He thought to himself.
