Almost a month later, Albus and Scorpius were finally moved into their new apartment. The night before was their first night in their very own place, and the second night was beginning to stress Scorpius out. Scorpius sighed as he shut the cook book that he decided to use for tonight's dinner. He wanted their first dinner party in their own place to be perfect but it was already becoming a disaster, especially since everyone had already arrived and he had no idea what he was doing. He felt an arm wrap around his waist and heard a very familiar laugh.
"Babe, stop stressing so much. We voted and I ordered pizza, it just got here." Albus told him as he continued to laugh. Scorpius rolled his eyes before turning to face his fiancé.
"I really can't wait until my healer training is over. Everything is falling on you when this was my idea. You're the only one adulting and I can't even make a decent meal." Scorpius complained with a sigh. Albus shook his head at him and smiled.
"I don't mind at all. We're in this together." Albus told him. "Now please come out here with me. Shit is starting to go down. Cas started her period and your step mum and aunt embarrassed her in front of everyone and she's been hiding in the bathroom for like 20 minutes now." Albus informed him. Scorpius let out an annoyed groan.
"I should have told them both not to come like i did my grandfather." Scorpius muttered as he followed Albus back into the extremely packed living room. The two men weren't quite sure how they managed to fit everyone in their small apartment but between the decent sized living room and patio, they managed it pretty well.
"Did you finally give up, chef?" Leo asked Scorpius with a smirk. Scorpius sighed and took a seat on the floor along with Albus all while giving one of his closest friends the middle finger.
"Has anyone checked on Cas?" Scorpius asked curiously. Lorcan nodded in reply.
"Your dad is checking on her and Ly went to the store to get her some things." Lorcan told him, and as if right on cue, Lysander walked through the door with a couple bags. Without saying a word, he disappeared into the bathroom.
"Anyway, Blaise and i got you guys something and I have a little something extra for you, Scorpius." Pansy said while handing the couple a gift bag and Scorpius a card that looked like it had been put away for some time. Draco had rejoined the group and smiled at the very familiar envelope his son was holding. Scorpius looked at the hand writing on the front of the envelope and could tell it wasn't his aunt's. Scorpius motioned for Albus to open the gift bag first. Albus pulled the tissue paper out and pulled out a set of 'his and his' coffee mugs. A smile quickly spread across the young man's face.
"This is honestly the cutest thing ever. This is officially my favorite mug. Thank you." Albus said. Scorpius smiled at his fiancé.
"Astoria actually got Blaise and I mugs like that as a gift when we finally got our own place and we've used them ever since. I never thought I'd love a mug so much in my life." Pansy replied with a laugh.
"Now he's going to cry if i make his coffee in any other mug." Scorpius joked as he opened his card and began to silently read the lengthy paragraph inside of it.
"Congratulations on your first home, Scorpius! I wish i could be there celebrating with you but hopefully you now have a step mother that loves you just as much as i do filling in for me. I hope you are surrounded by friends, family and just pure love today. Im so proud of you and i wish i could tell you that in person. I hope you have found someone, no matter who it may be, to share this new life with that loves you deeply and unconditionally. I don't know what waits for us after life, but maybe one day we'll meet again and you can fill me in on all your wonderful adventures. Always live life to the fullest, and if you're like your father, i hope you have someone by your side that forces your adventurous side out of you. There is so much more i want to say but you just woke up from a nap and your beautiful baby sister is kicking like crazy demanding lunch. I love you so much baby.
