By Christmas Eve no one had managed to make up and put the past behind them. Cassiopeia and Scorpius continued to argue everytime they were around each other. Sexual tension and awkwardness filled the room when Albus and Scorpius were in the same room together. Adrian Riddle sparked questions from everyone when he'd disappear for hours at a time. The Granger-Weasley clan weren't exactly in the holiday spirit and kept to themselves the majority of the time. To make a long story short; the tension between everyone was so thick that you could cut it with a knife.
Everyone was woke up by a very loud and obnoxious pounding on the door to the shared suite. All the kids camped out in the living room area while the parents took the bedrooms.
"Who in their right mind pounds on someone's door like that in the middle of the night?" Albus asked with a groan as he rubbed his eyes.
Harry made his way over to the door and looked out the little peep hole. He finally opened the door and bent down to pick something up. He shut the door behind him and locked it before checking out the package.
"It says it's for Cassiopeia." He finally announced. Everyone turned their attention towards her. She got up and walked over to Harry and took the box from him.
"Who would be sending you something at this hour?" Draco asked her. Cassiopeia looked at him and simply shrugged. As she began to unwrap the box, Lysander made his way to her side. She opened the box and furrowed her eyebrows at the contents before realization hit her.
"Is that your bikini that you wore that night?" Lysander asked her. She picked up the green bikini and nodded. Parts of her once favorite bathing suite were ripped, stretched out, and covered in her blood. She picked up a piece of paper that laid in the box that read 'i know what you did in new york'. The paper was snatched from her by Scorpius who read it out loud to everyone.
"What did you do in new york?" Draco asked her curiously.
"I found out I was pregnant. I tried so hard to talk myself out of it. So did Lysander. It was the most selfish thing I've ever done. I just couldn't carry that baby, Dad." Cassiopeia told him truthfully.
"You shouldn't feel bad about that, Cas. You didn't ask for it. That was something that was created by force." Albus told her sympathetically.
"I know. It doesnt really bother me that much anymore." Cassiopeia told him as she put the bikini back into the box and closed it.
"You are telling the truth about everything, aren't you? And I've been a total bitch towards you." Roxanne said. Cassiopeia simply nodded in response.
"Wow, you're just now realizing that, Rox?" Fred asked his sister. She rolled her eyes at him.
"Does this mean that you guys are done with the whole side thing so we can actually have a decent Christmas tomorrow?" Hugo asked. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Just because im being civil with your ass doesn't mean that im claiming you as my sister again." Scorpius informed Cassiopeia. She simply rolled her eyes in response. Everyone, once again, said goodnight and went their seperate ways. Before leaving the room, Draco pulled Cassiopeia into a tight hug.
"I know we've done nothing but argue lately, but you could have came to me about that. Goodnight, I love you." He told her.
"I love you too, Dad." She told him with a smile.
