Scorpius paced around the waiting room as he waited for Albus. He was too stressed to actually sit still. He already lost his mother, he couldn't lose his father as well. He sighed before sitting down next to Cassiopeia.

"Are you happy now? Your fucking need to argue constantly finally put Dad in the hospital. Way to go, Cassiopeia. You really out did yourself this time." Scorpius ranted. He of course didn't blame her, but he was angry. He needed to place the blame on someone. Cassiopeia kept her gaze down.

"Im sorry. I didn't think the argument escalated to a point where he got distracted." Cassiopeia simply replied. "If you want the truth, he had to go on a business trip and he was planning on leaving me with Grandma and Grandpa. I freaked out. Im sure you'll find a way not to side with me and continue to blame me, but i really didn't expect him to get distracted to a point where it caused an accident." She explained after a few moments of silence between the two. Scorpius sighed and looked at her.

"Im sorry. I would have freaked out to." Scorpius told her. Cassiopeia finally looked over at him and raised her eyebrows at him.

"Im kind of shocked that you're taking my side on this." She told him. He shrugged.

"I'm tired of being a dick to you. Especially when I should have believed you in the first place. I guess im just trying to say that im sorry for everything i put you through." He replied with a sigh.

"Im sure I'll forgive you one day. You literally ruined everything, Scorp. Im not just gonna forgive you because you said sorry. Sorry is just a word to you. If you meant it when you said it, you wouldn't constantly turn against me every single time some shit goes down. You never choose to believe me and possibly regret it later." Cassiopeia explained to him. He simply nodded in response.

"Is Dad letting you talk to Lysander and Lorcan again?" He asked her. She let out a sarcastic laugh.

"Are you fucking kidding me? Yeah, after all the shit you talked and when Dad found out about what happened at the party, that was over for good." Cassiopeia told him while crossing her arms across her chest. Scorpius went to respond but someone entering the waiting room caught his attention. Scorpius smiled at the boy that he undeniably loved. Albus smiled back and took a seat next to him. Scorpius instantly pulled him into a very tight hug.

"It'll be okay, Scorp. He'll be fine." Albus told him. Cassiopeia rolled her eyes at the sight and sighed. She took out her phone and began scrolling through Instagram to distract herself.

After another couple of hours, Draco was finally awake and stable and everyone was able to go back to the room. Cassiopeia was relieved that her father was okay, but she was also dreading to see him. To say that they're relationship has been rocky the past few weeks would be an understatement. Once they all had entered the room, Scorpius and the others went straight to Draco's side while Cassiopeia just sat down in a visitor chair. After greeting the others, Draco looked over at his daughter. Draco did feel bad for being so hard on her the last few weeks, but he'd never admit it.

"The least you could do is come give me a hug." Draco told her. Cassiopeia got up from her seat and made her way to her dad. He pulled her into a tight hug and smiled. "Im so glad you're okay. Im sorry for even suggesting what I did." He told her. She pulled away from the hug and smiled.

"Im glad you're okay too, Dad." She simply told him. "Seems like the Malfoy men are in the mood to apologize today." Cassiopeia quickly added with a laugh.

"It took me almost dying for you two to make up?" Draco asked his children in disbelief.

"Oh, she didn't forgive me but i apologized to her." Scorpius told him. Draco sighed.

"Well that's a start at least." Draco replied. "How did you two make up?" Draco asked Scorpius and Albus.

"It just sorta happened. He messaged me freaking out and i just couldn't ignore him during a time like this." Albus replied with a smile.

"Good for you guys." Cassiopeia said with a bit of sarcasm.

"Im sure he's heard about the accident by now. Has he even reached out to you to make sure you're okay? In my defense, i was trying to do my job as your brother and protect you. He's toxic for you, Cas." Scorpius ranted. Cassiopeia looked at him and shook her head.

"As a matter of fact, yes. He's been calling and texting me the whole time we've been here begging me to let him know that i was okay. He's never done a single thing to you, Scorpius. I dont see why you had to completely ruin my relationship with him." Cassiopeia ranted.

"Every single time you get yourself into stupid shit, he's the one that's always with you when it happens, Cas." Scorpius told her.

"In your brother's defense, he does have a point, darling. He's a bad influence for you." Draco defended Scorpius. Cassiopeia let out an annoyed groan.

"Can we just leave it alone? I really don't feel like talking about it, its in the past." Cassiopeia stated. Scorpius and Draco dropped the topic of Lysander.

"I should probably get back to Hogwarts before i get caught. I'll talk to you guys later." Albus announced before leaving the hospital room. For the first time in many months, the Malfoy family was civil and actually enjoyed each other's company. It still wasn't perfect, but all was well.
