Victoire sat in her living room with her sister in law, putting together wedding invitations. Victoire giggled as she watched the likes blow up on her post and the messages from her family flooding her inbox. As Ashley finished the last invitation, she stacked them all into a box and reached for her binder where she keeps all her notes.
"Dom said shes kicking your ass when she gets here for not telling her." Victoire informed Ashley, causing the girl to laugh as she opened the binder.
"Did you really tell Albus to come?" Teddy asked his fiancée curiously. Victoire sighed as she locked her phone and sat it down.
"I did and so help me if you do not ask him to be a best man, I will make him a brides maid. Albus will be in our wedding one way or another. You know you're going to regret it if you leave him out. It's been a year, get over it, Edward." Victoire replied back, causing Teddy to roll his eyes.
"Don't call me that." He muttered as there was a knock heard at the door. Ashley got up and excused herself from the awkwardness that was quickly filling the space between the couple and answered the door, allowing her wife inside along with her cousins and brother.
"Um, where are mine and Albie's babies?" Dominique asked as she scanned the room for her niece and nephew.
"My parents wanted to take them out today." Teddy informed her with a shrug. Dominique pouted as she sat down beside her sister.
"So what brings us here, and why did you guys not tell us you were planning a wedding?" Lily asked as she plopped down on the couch next to Teddy.
"Well, we both have some questions for you guys. Teddy, you first." Victoire told her fiancé. He looked at his brother and brother in law and smiled at the two of them.
"I was kinda hoping you two would be my best men?" Teddy asked James and Louis. They both smiled and nodded eagerly.
"Of course, mate. I wouldn't miss it." James told his brother as he made his way over to him and pulled him into a hug.
"I'd be honored, thanks for thinking of me." Louis told the older man with a smile. Victoire shook her head at Teddy.
"I'll be right back." Victoire announced as she got up and disappeared for a few moments before returning with a small box and three small cards. She passed the box to her sister and gave Roxanne, Lily, and Albus each one of the small envelopes with their names on it. Dominique gasped before pulling her sister into a tight hug.
"Of course I'll be your maid of honor! You didn't even have to ask!" Dominique shouted, clearly excited. Victoire smiled at her as she pulled away and started looking through the small of box of gifts after sliding on the petite diamond ring that was taped to the top of the box.
"Will you say I do to being my bridesmaid? That's so cute, and you even added a little ring!" Roxanne gushed as she slid the ring onto one of her fingers.
"Im literally going to lose my shit at your wedding at this point." Lily said as she slid her ring on as well. Victoire looked over at Albus who was sitting on the other side of Dominique.
"What about you?" Victoire asked the young man curiously. Albus gave her a small smile before letting out a small sigh.
"Yeah, of course. I'd love to." Albus told her with a hint of sadness in his voice. Dominique took out a piece of chocolate from her box and offered it to her cousin. Albus smiled at her before accepting it.
"What other goodies do you have?" Ashley asked curiously. Dominique smiled as she dumped out the box of all her favorite candies, allowing everyone to help themselves.
"This wedding is going to be so magical and Im so happy to be apart of it." Roxanne gushed as she chose a piece of sour candy.
"The magical part being that my troll of a sister found someone to actually marry her." Louis joked as he smirked at his big sister.
"Va te faire foutre." Victoire told him as she held up a middle finger.
"Means kiss my ass, dude." Teddy informed him with a laugh.
"How do you not know french yet?" Dominique asked her brother curiously, earning a shrug in reply. Teddy smiled at the three siblings continued to playfully argue with one another. He sighed as he got up from his seat a sat down next to Albus on the floor. Teddy took the card that he was still holding with the ring still attached and rolled his eyes.
"Women and their gift giving." Teddy mumbled. Albus rolled his eyes and took the card back.
"Yeah, well, it's mine." Albus informed him, mentally face palming himself for such a lame response. Teddy sighed as he snatched the card back from him.
"Yeah, well, it's not." Teddy told him as he passed the card back to his future wife. "I want you standing up there with me and Im not taking no for an answer." Teddy told him with a small smile. Albus rolled his eyes at him as a small smile slowly spread across his face.
"I mean, I guess I have no choice." Albus told him, playfully rolling his eyes.
"You guys wanna grab some pizza at our spot tonight? We haven't had a Potter Pizza night in awhile and the four of us should really sit down and talk some things out." James suggested. Lily nodded eagerly as Teddy looked over at Victoire, earning a nod from the woman.
"Yeah sure. That sounds good." Teddy agreed as Albus nodded in agreement.
"Scorp is working the night shift at St. Mungo's. Are you alright if we do a rain check?" Albus asked Dominique, who he had previously made plans with.
"Of course I'm cool with it." Dominique told him with a smile. The four Potter siblings quickly got up and rushed out the door as if they were in a hurry.
"I love when weddings bring people together." Ashley stated shortly after they had left. Louis gave her a confused look.
"Isn't that the whole point of weddings?" Louis asked her earning eye rolls from around the room.
"Merlin's beard, I need champagne." Victoire muttered as she got up and went into the kitchen. Ashley and Roxanne quickly followed her.
"Don't touch my candy." Dominique told her brother as she stood up and joined the others in the kitchen. Louis smirked before grabbing a handful of the candy and shoving it into his pocket before joining the rest of his family to celebrate his sister finally getting married.
