Scorpius paced back and forth in front of the door. He felt like an idiot. There was no way that Albus would actually forgive him. He sighed and went to leave but the door had opened to reveal what seemed like a very happy Albus.
"What are you doing here, Malfoy?" Albus asked as soon as he noticed the boy. Scorpius cringed at the sound of his last name leaving the boy's lips.
"You remember that one time we took my dad's car and crashed it?" Scorpius asked him. Albus nodded. "Well, Hayley found out about it and she blackmailed me with it. She told me that she'd make you look like the bad guy. I couldn't let her do that to you. I haven't really been with her this whole time but if I don't go along with it, she's going to expose us." Scorpius explained to him. Albus glared at him.
"How exactly did she find out?" Albus asked him while crossing his arms.
"Okay, maybe she didn't threaten to switch the story around. I may have told her that it was all your idea and your fault after we had that fight in the great hall at school. I was pissed at you and it just came out. Fuck, im so sorry." Scorpius explained. Albus let out a laugh and shook his head.
"I can't believe you. Not only did you tell my worst enemy our biggest secret, but you blamed it all on me? I gave you my heart, Scorpius. I trusted you. You're fucking trash, dude." Albus told him, clearly angry. "You know what, im not dealing with this. I have a date. If you could kindly fuck off, that would be great. Thanks." Albus quickly added.
"A date? It didn't take you very long to get over me, did it?" Scorpius asked him. "I can't believe that i just tried to explain everything and im getting treated like this. Fuck you, Albus." Scorpius added. Albus once again laughed.
"Really? I have every damn right to be pissed! I would never tell anyone one of your secrets no matter how mad i am at you!" Albus shouted. Scorpius rolled his eyes.
"Whatever, Albus." Scorpius told him. He went to leave but stopped in his tracks and turned back around to face Albus. He looked at the boy's neck and noticed a very familiar necklace.
"I want the necklace back." Scorpius demanded. Albus was taken back. Scorpius had never asked for it before and he wasn't quite sure what it meant for the two of them. He unhooked it and took it off.
"You really think i care about this stupid necklace? Go ahead and take it, maybe Hayley would enjoy it." Albus told him before handing it to him and walking off. Scorpius looked at the necklace in his hand and sighed. He tried to hold it back but a tear had slid down his cheek as he put the necklace into his pocket.
-Flashback starts-
Scorpius fumbled with the little box while he waited for Albus. It had been exactly one year since they started dating. He spent hours picking out the perfect gift.
"Hey, sorry im late. I got held up at home. Shall we go in?" Albus asked as he approached the handsome blonde. Scorpius smiled and gave him a quick kiss.
"No worries. And i was hoping we could do gifts before we eat?" Scorpius asked him. Albus smiled and nodded eagerly.
"Okay, me first. You're going to love it." Albus told him while handing him a gift bag. Albus smiled and opened the bag. Inside was emerald green pillow that smelt exactly like Albus. "I had Teddy put a charm on it so it would always smell like me. It's discreet so your family won't think nothing of it but it'll make you think of me still." Albus explained to him. Scorpius smiled and hugged the boy.
"I absolutely love it. Thank you." Scorpius told him before pulling away. He smiled once more and handed Albus the box. Albus opened the little box and smiled at the necklace.
"You weren't shopping for you dad, were you?" Albus asked Scorpius. He laughed and shook his head.
"I didn't know what to get you so I needed you to pick something out and I noticed that you really liked that necklace." Scorpius told him as he watched the boy put it on.
"I love it, thank you, Scorp. Im never taking it off." Albus told him before pulling the boy into a very passionate kiss.
