"It's three weeks away, three fucking weeks and they're just sat on their asses like we don't pay them their wages," Michelle complains, chewing out Chris and Kate with distaste as we walk out of the studio doors.
Riley huffs, humour in her tone as she rolls her eyes at Michelle's quip. Riley loves Kate, she sees her as a second mom I think, like another parental figure after her dad died.
I remember when it happened, she was only ten, I remember Kate told all of us at the studio, and I didn't see Riley or Emily for two weeks after that.
I was only eleven so I didn't really hang out with girls back then, it was strictly Eldon and I, but I was still upset for them. I couldn't imagine losing my dad, he's a fucking dick most of the time, but so am I, so I guess we just cancel each other out.
Riley loves to defend Kate though, always coming to her defence when someone, usually Michelle, calls her out for being lazy.
She is lazy, it's true. And apparently when I got kicked out of the studio Riley wasn't sticking up for Kate like she usually does, she was defending me instead. It felt good to know, but I was high when Michelle told me so I couldn't really process it.
I was out with Luke and Theo, Luke had some coke so we went back to his place and did a few lines of it, it's fair to say I was fucked off my face that night.

Kate and Chris just sit on their asses all day, like I literally got kicked out of the studio for supposedly drugging two girls and then they let me back in because Stephanie paid them two grand, what a fucking joke.
That's like me kicking Luke out of the studio and then just letting him back in because he offered to pay me. Like fuck I would do that, I'm not a money hungry motherfucker like Kate.
To be honest I'm quite grateful that she is so money focused, if her morals were in the right place then I wouldn't be stood outside of the studio right now after just finishing rehearsal.
I missed dance when I was gone, it was only for a while but I really just wanted to be with the rest of the team. Well, mainly just Riley, but I missed West and Michelle too, although I'd never admit that to them.
