I'm sat in math class when I hear my phone vibrate.
Pulling it out of my pocket, I read the text from Kate:
"Can you teach a baby ballet class today at 3.30 please? Your rehearsal doesn't start till 4.30 so you'll have time. I've asked Eldon to help you."

I would rather not spend my time teaching 5 year olds' first position, but at least I'm not teaching middle aged women yoga, and I'm teaching with Eldon so that'll make the class go a little faster and be a little more fun.

I walk into the studio and I hear footsteps rushing up behind me.
Turning around, I see Beth.
She's got her chocolate hair scraped up into a ponytail, and she's wearing a light grey tank top with black leggings.

"Hey James, what are you doing?" She asks me.
She's a nice girl but she's very clingy, we dated for a few months a while back but she's still not over me. Now she just follows me like a shadow.

"I'm going to studio B, I have a class to teach Beth so I can't hang out." I tell her.
I hope she takes the message and leaves me alone.

"Oh really? What class? Can I help with anything?" She asks.
So many questions, she really doesn't leave me alone. Every day I get a text from her, it's really just embarrassing at this point.

"It's baby ballet, with Eldon, so I've got all the help I need, I'm all good Beth, really." I tell her to hopefully get her to go away.

I start to walk at a quicker pace, hoping she will get my message and let me go. She picks up her speed too, nearly running to keep up with me.
If she doesn't get the message by now, she's delusional. She doesn't look phased though.

"Well can I at least walk you to studio B?" She asks.
She looks at me with pleading eyes, I guess it won't be that bad if she walks with me to the class, it's easier than telling her not to seventeen times before she actually listens to me.

"Fine." I tell her bluntly.

She doesn't pick up on it though and she eagerly starts jumping into a conversation about this dress she wants to buy from the mall. She's just so superficial, it's kind of boring, I really don't know what I saw in her.
Well actually, that's a lie, she was good at giving blowjobs, but other than that, I didn't really take much interest in our relationship.

When we walk into studio B, I see that Eldon has already set up the bar for the kids to use during the class.

Beth grabs my shoulder and turns me to face her, pulling me into a tight hug. I'm surprised, and a little frustrated by her hugging me like we're friends, but I hug her back out of instinct.
Her hair brushes against my cheek, and I shiver at the memory of being this close to her. It doesn't feel right anymore, but I don't think she agrees.

She leans in to kiss me, what the fuck? Honestly at this rate I'm going to need to put a restraining order against this girl, she just never stops.
I see what she's doing before she can make her move, and I turn my face so her lips miss my mouth, and can only kiss my cheek.
