"So, are you going to Stephanie's party tomorrow?" Michelle asks me as we stretch against the bar in studio A.

It's Halloween tomorrow, and Stephanie's annual party is said to be bigger and better than ever.

I really don't feel like going, but practically everyone at the studio will be there, and I also don't want to miss out.

I won't be drinking, of course. The two experiences I've had with alcohol have seriously clouded my view on the substance, last time wasn't so bad, I mean, I ended up giving James a hickey and nearly confessed to actually having some sort of feelings for him, but at least I chose to drank that night.

If I do go to Stephanie's party, I'll force myself to take my drink everywhere with me, including to the bathroom. I'll stare at it whilst I pee for the life of me, I'd rather be neurotic than be drugged.

Besides, it won't be that bad. I'll be able to hang out with Michelle and West, and Giselle is going to this party too so I'll be able to spend some time with her. I guess I'll see James there too, and even though I'm still kind of upset with him about everything that he said to Emily, I guess he's actually not that bad to have around- especially because I know he will look out for me, if there's one thing I can count on, it's that James will make sure I won't get hurt.

Inhaling a sharp breath, a small smile creeps on to my face, I'm trying to mask all of my doubts about the party but I'm sure Michelle will be able to see right through my facade.

"I'll be there, what about you? Got a costume yet?" I tease her, nudging my shoulder against hers playfully as she rolls her eyes at me.

She shrugs her shoulders proudly, revealing that she does in fact have a costume. She will probably look absolutely amazing in it too, she looks amazing in anything that she wears.

"I'm gonna be a fairy, my lifetime wish has finally come true," she jokes, mimicking a set of wings with her hands to add to the effect.

A small laugh escapes my lips and I flash her a bright smile. "I think you'll be the best looking fairy there," I tell her with a wink, moving my arm over my head to stretch it.

West comes bursting into the room alongside James, who both make their way over to Michelle and I.

"Tardiness isn't acceptable, you guys should know better," Michelle mocks the guys, swatting at their arms playfully when they approach us.

West rolls his eyes and pokes his tongue out at her. "Sorry miss dance captain, I didn't realise we had appointed Emily as the new leader."

Michelle shrugs West's snide comment off, and I bite my lower lip in response. It's been a hard few days at home, Emily has barely come out of her room.

I'm worried about her, she's been drinking coffee and she only ever does that when she's stressed. My mom brought it up too, neither of us have seen her drink coffee in at least a year, so it was concerning when she spent half an hour cutting sugar cubes in half to add them to her drinks.
