"What the hell did you do on Saturday night?" Emily yells at me through the phone.

Rolling my eyes, I reply with a scoff,
"I went to a party, what's your problem?"

She's delusional if she thinks I'm going to apologise for going to a party.

"You went to a party with Amanda, you know as in Amanda the dance captain of Elite, our rival studio!" She shouts down the line.

I can picture her cheeks turning to red as the anger courses through her veins. I'm not backing down though, I was drunk at a party and Amanda and I took a selfie, I looked cute, no wonder she posted it.

"I don't care Em, Amanda took the photo with me and posted it, big deal. I spent most of my time with this guy anyways," I sneer back honestly.
I'm not playing around with Emily today, there's no point arguing over something this pathetic.
I can hear Emily scoff at me through the phone.
"So you just got drunk and hooked up with some random guy? And then took photos with our rivals? Steph, do you know how dirty that team plays, they would use anything against us, any bit of dirt, we can't risk hanging out with them, especially with regionals coming up," she patronises me.

I'm sick of her treating me like I'm some dirty little tramp from off the street.
"Yeah I got drunk and hooked up with some guy, at least I didn't hook up with them in a car in the middle of a street, which is more than can be said for you!" I sneer at Emily, my sour words taking immediate effect.
I hear the line go dead, she's hung up on me, great.

She'll be upset with me for the rest of the day, but by this time tomorrow we'll be friends again, it's just the way our relationship works.

We're two people that are hated by almost everyone else, without Emily, I haven't got anyone really, she feels the same way about me, but when you're hated so much by everyone else, you just have to find people  that tolerate you.
Em and I fight like cat and mouse, but in the end, she'll always be my best friend.

"And then I just hung up on her," I tell Eldon, he's sat across from me at the lunch table in the school cafeteria, eating his tuna sandwich

"And then I just hung up on her," I tell Eldon, he's sat across from me at the lunch table in the school cafeteria, eating his tuna sandwich.
One of the main turn offs of Eldon is his tuna sandwich breath, but I can get over it, with some persuading.
