I walk into studio A for the first time as an official A-troupe member.
We're here this evening for a meeting about A-troupe, this is the first official time we're meeting as a team, miss Kate told us that she wanted to call us here tonight to plan the road to regionals and talk about rehearsals.

Stepping into the studio, I see a clear divide in the team.
Emily, Riley, Stephanie, and Tiffany are sat on one side of the room, Emily has her arm over Riley's shoulder, almost like she's comforting her.

I thought Riley would be happy about coming into studio for a meeting to plan rehearsals, so why does she look so upset?

On the other side of the studio I see James, West, Michelle and Daniel.
Michelle turns around and waves her hand over to me, calling me to sit with them.

Emily snaps her head round at the same time and says,
"Sit with us Chloe, you know you'd much rather be here."
It's true, now that I'm on A-troupe I'm hoping to become a part of Emily's friendship group.

I know it's stupid, I'm 18 years old, the oldest member of A-troupe, so I shouldn't be hung up about stupid cliques, but I just want to feel accepted in the team, and being part of Emily's group is the best way to do it.

Walking over to the them, I sit down next to Tiffany.
Tiffany is the one person on the team that kind of intimidates me.
She gives me a look and rolls her eyes as I take my seat.
I don't know what I did to deserve that, but I'm sure as hell not going to ask.
At this moment, Kate and Chris walk in.

"Welcome A-troupe! Now, we have a busy year ahead of us, and if we're going to win regionals, we need a strict rehearsal plan."  Miss Kate tells us, she's smiling but you can tell from her eyes that she's very serious about this plan.

"So, I'm going to explain to our newcomers how A-troupe works-" She begins to tells us.
She's cut off by Eldon rushing into the studio.

"Sorry I'm late miss Kate" he says, rushing the sentence just as much as he rushed in here.

"It's okay for today Eldon, but don't let it happen again." Miss Kate warns him sternly, her arms folding over her chest to emphasise her point.

Eldon rushes over to sit down next to Riley.
He places a hand on her shoulder worriedly and asks,
"Are you okay? I heard what happened earlier at your place, I'm so sorry." He tells her sincerely, embracing her more to comfort her.

So there is something wrong with Riley.
What could it be though? She had a great time at the party last night I think, so it must've been something that happened today at home.
Maybe something with her family?
No, it can't be. If it was something with her family then Emily would be equally as upset, but she doesn't seem sad, only angry.

"Anyways, as I was saying. A-troupe requires you guys to be in the studio a lot more than B-troupe.
You guys have to teach 2 classes a week to either B-troupe, J-troupe, baby ballet, or the adult Zumba and yoga classes," Miss Kate begins to tell us.
2 classes, that's quite a lot.
It doesn't seem like a lot to a regular team mate, but that's because they have all the time and money in the world to dance.
