"Congratulations everyone, we're now officially competing in the semi-finals of regionals!" Kate cheers from the wing as we approach, my hand intertwining with Eldon's as I grin widely, biting my lower lip as I reminisce over the last five minutes.

That was the best performance we've done so far, we scored 88 points, four points more than Dance Inc.

I can't quite believe that we actually just beat Dance Inc, they make it to the finals nearly every year, I was really worried that we weren't going to make it passed this round.

"I think we're going to win this thing," Eldon speaks up from beside me, and I rest my head against his body as I take in the sheer bliss that surrounds me right now.

I had a bad day yesterday, but I'm okay now. I'm always okay, and Eldon really helped me to see that last night.

We didn't do anything sexual, instead we just sat and talked for hours as I laid on his chest and he played with my hair, and for the first time in a while, I felt really close to him.

Amanda's cruel lies affected me more than I'd like to admit, but he proved last night that they were exactly that: lies.

He would never dream of cheating on me, he told me that I was the love of his life once, and I know that that sentiment will never change, he's in love with me, as much as I am in love with him.

It's a beautiful, strangling kind of love that captivates you by your entirety, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I open my eyes to look around at my team, and I see that James and Steph have turned their heads to look at Dance Inc's team with a snark glare.

They're clearly just trying to rub our victory in, but the dancers of Dance Inc don't even seem slightly affected by their glances.

The drunken girl from the mixer, Thalia I think her name was, is matching their glares, her eyes rolling as she flashes her middle finger at James and Stephanie, blowing them a sultry kiss before turning around to face her team.

"Well she seems cocky for someone who just fucking lost," Stephanie spits out, rolling her eyes as she folds her arms around her chest, clearly phased by the backlash from Thalia.

This Thalia girl actually seems quite interesting, but she also seems quite similar to Michelle which makes me feel an immediate dislike to her.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but she just seems very endearing, unlike Michelle, almost as if she's beckoning to be known.

Miss Kate looks between Stephanie and James, shaking her head as she lets out an exasperated sigh.

"You guys do realise that Dance Inc have now been entered into the wildcard competition, and they could very easily compete against us in the semi finals," miss Kate begins to rant, her tone becoming harsh as she attempts to shut down the snide quips of Stephanie. "Do not underestimate the underdog, it really won't get you anywhere."
