Neymar POV

Why is my life so complicated? I woke up this morning to such a mess.

Flashback

"Neymar! Baby, wakeup!" A shrieking voice yelled.

I groaned and opened my eyes to see Bruna, my ex girlfriend, standing by the door. How the hell did she even get in? I sat up and looked at her confused.

"Ney! Honey!" She said running over to me and jumping on me. She hugged me so tight that I thought I was going to die through the pause of my blood circulating or die from that awful stinch of designer perfume that she probably bathed in.

"Get...off me." I said prying her off.

She scowled at me. "Ney! That's not something to say to your girlfriend." She said.

"Bruna, we are not dating. What do you want? And more importantly how did you get in here?" I asked her.

"Babe we did not breakup officially, we are still dating. And the door was open." She said.

"Well whatever you are thinking, is wrong. We are done. Você entende? Terminado. Não mais." I said sternly.

She looked really pissed off. Without saying anything else she stormed out of the room and left. I took a breath of relief.

Just then the door opened again and my pai walked in.

"Neymar, meu filho, você está horrível. Se você tomar café da manhã?"

I shook my head. He picked up the phone and called Thiago. He told him to tell Margie to send me breakfast in my room today.

My morning was so bad. I felt very weak and exhausted. Nearing the afternoon, I decided to go kick around a soccer ball. Granja Comary was one place where I felt normal. Eventhough I did love the fans, sometimes I just needed to be for myself and relax.

I was walking to the big field but I stopped when I saw a girl picking up a soccer ball. She was tall, and had wavy long brown hair. Of course this was my observation from the back. She was facing away from me.

I decided to wait a bit and see what she does. She picked up the soccer ball and starting doing keep ups. Wow I've never met a girl who can do actual keep ups.

She then started hesitating a bit as she tried another move. At first I didn't quite understand what she was trying to do. But when I saw her catch that ball in her ground foot, being amazing was an understatement. She just did a perfect crossover.

But then I erased all those thoughts and suddenly started thinking. This girl could in fact be a fan and she could just be here to see everyone. I would hate if she got caught for trespassing.

I walked to the field and went up behind her. "What are you doing here?" I said.

She turned around and my eyes were met with a pair of exotic green eyes. She had an incredible physique. I just couldn't stop looking. I could look at her all day and not get tired.Neymar! Snap out of it!!

"I could ask you the same thing." She stated. I was taken back by her choice of words. Does she even know who she is talking to?

"I asked, what are you doing here?" I said. She glared at me. "You're not a fan are you because you aren't allowed on the property and if-"

"Relax. I'm not an outsider." She rolled her eyes at me. Me, Neymar Jr. I nodded and walked up to her. "Who are you anyways?" She asked.

Woah! She actually doesn't know who I am... That's a first. Most people can tell right off the bat. I looked at her shocked. "You seriously don't know me?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, should I? Wait this is actually all my fault because I'm supposed to know all the players here but I don't and-" She started rambling. Wait she doesn't know me. How would someone treat me if they knew I wasn't Neymar Jr? Maybe I'd have friends who don't constantly use me.

"It's okay." I said cutting her off quick. "You..um aren't supposed to know me." She looked at me confused. "I mean, I'm just staff, not a player." This was the biggest lie ever.

"Oh okay. Well I'm Adriana. I'm the new intern for the medical advisors." Adriana, what a hot name. SNAP OUT OF IT. I nodded. "You didn't answer my question, who are you? I know you're staff but I'm asking for-" She asked.

"Joia." I said cutting her off again. Joia, what I used to be called, or still am called by friends and family.

"Alright then. Is this your first time, working here?" She said.

I nodded and she pulled a smile. "Me as well, you're here for the world cup, and so am I." She said. Most definitly i was here for the world cup.

"Those tricks you were doing there were pretty okay. You're a natural." I said.

"Oh, you saw that?" She said looking embarrassed. She put the ball down and looked down. "They were nothing, I don't play. I'm more of a backround person."

Why was she embarrassed? She was a natural. "You were good." I said to her. I picked up the ball and looked at her. "Here, let's pass the ball around."

She looked up at me hesistantly. "I don't-" She started denying. This girl will play with me. I was just very fascinated.

"Trust me. It'll be fun." I said smiling.

She smiled back and nodded her head. She took a few steps back and so did I. I kicked the ball to her and she stopped it perfectly. "Good kick!" She yelled and she kicked the ball to me.

After that we were just playing around and having fun. She was so fun to talk to and play with. I've never felt so normal. There were so many people that I have met in my life that have been opportunists. All they wanted was the recognition of having Neymar Jr as their friend. It was nice to know that this girl had no idea. It was odd, but it was nice. She was nice. And now I'm feeling very guilty for not telling her the truth about who I am. This could end up well or horrible. More so the second one.

"Filho! Vamos!" Someone yelled. I turned to see pai calling me. I was so lucky he didn't call me by my name.

I turned to look at Adriana who looked confused. I don't know think she knows Portuguese either. Alright then. I walkes up to her and smiled. "I have to go now. I hope to see yoy around, Adriana." I turned around and jogged over to pai. I did hear a bye from her.
