"Boas vindas, a principal equipe da equipa nacional de futebol do Brasil, a CBF." The announcer said. (Please welcome, the main staff of Brazil's National Football Team, CBF.)

"Olá, estamos muito felizes de estar aqui. Podemos começar com as perguntas." Coach Carlos said. (Hello, we are very happy to be here. We can start with the questions.)

"Quais são as expectativas para a Copa do Mundo?" One of them asked. (What are the hopes for the world cup?)

"A resposta é simples, vencer. Isso é o que nós treinamos para. Victory." Coach Scolari answered without a second thought. (The answer is simply, win. That's what we train for. Victory.)

"Conte-nos sobre quaisquer lesões e / ou falhas que atrasaram a equipe para baixo." A lady at the back asked. (Tell us about any injuries and/or faults that have slowed the team down.)

I didn't know of any injuries. These guys looked pretty healthy on first impression.

Oh I get it. You guys might be wondering as to how I am understanding this. Well, Ashley was translating in my ear the whole time. For the first time, I didn't feel confused. I didn't feel left in the dark.

"Não houve feridos. Não há falhas. Estamos a trabalhar muito bem." Coach Andrews replied. (No injuries. No faults. We are working very well.)

"Agora por favor recebam os jogadores da Seleção de Futebol do Brasil." The announcer said. (Now please welcome the players of Brazil's National Football Team)

One by one, the boys walked in and took a seat on the very long table that was set out for us. I was seated in the middle section but at the very end of the midsection. However the chair that once used to be empty was occupied by a very dashing Marcelo. Marcelo was one of the guys that I had acquainted. He was very kind and genuine. He smiled at me and j smiled back.

Once they were all seated the flashes still kept going here and there. It was hectic. The room was filled with many reporters and cameras. It was very intimidating. After a while, the questioning continued.

"Nós todos sabemos que você é, mas você pode nos dizer sobre a menina sentada com Ashley Ramos?" A man in the front asked.  (We all know who you are but might you tell us about the girl sitting with Ashley Ramos?)

Oh shit, they were asking about me...what do I do now?

"Esta é Adriana Scott. Ela é do Canadá e está aqui para um estágio com os nossos consultores médicos." Coach Scolari said. (This is Adriana Scott. She is from Canada and is here for an internship with our medical advisors.)

"Esta é uma pergunta para Adriana. Como é que para além de ser CBF? Quais são seus pensamentos?" One asked. (This is a question for Adriana. How is it to be apart of CBF? What are your thoughts?)

Oh my god.

I sort of panicked at first. But then I thought back to the 2 days ago when Joia-Neymar and I went to McDonald's

Flashback

I walked into McDonald's and Joia, well Neymar, wasn't with me and I needed to find a washroom to wash my hands. So my first instinct was to go up to an employee and ask where it was. Which is exactly what I did.

"Hi, I'm looking for the washroom?" I asked the cashier. He looked so confused so I started gesturing. "Hi..." I waved, "I am," I pointed at myself, "looking," I circled both my hand individually and put them over my eyes indicating binoculars, "for the washroom." I said holding up 4 fingers and making a 'w' with my fingers.
