I woke up to a knock on my door. I slowly got out of my bed and put on my glasses. I felt much better this morning. I remembered how caring and kind Joia had been to me. It felt so right to be with him. He was so genuine and honest. It made me think. Was I falling for him? I don't know, I think I may be.
I walked to the door and opened it. I was confronted by a presence from Ashley.
"Hey Adriana!" She said smiling. "Did I wake you?"
"Good morning Ashley and actually I'm glad you did. What is the time even?" I said yawning.
"Well right now its 7:00 am. I woke up and I decided to come to you. I thought that since you're the only other girl, besides Margie, here, we should have bonding time." She said laughing.
I smiled. "Of course. Do you want to come in?" I asked her. She nodded and I made way for her to come in. "Alright, I guess you can hangout for a bit, I'm just going to take a quick shower and get dressed." I said.
"Alright." She said.
I went to my closet and grabbed my undergarments, a Nike tank and a pair of yoga pants. I went to bathroom and did my morning routine.
After about 15 minutes I came out and saw Ashley watching some TV. I braided my hair in a French braid and put on some waterproof mascara. I then put in my running shoes and grabbed my phone & sweater. It was still early.
"Alright! I guess we can head on out." I said to her.
"Let's go!" She said smiling.
We walked out of my room and were walking towards the fields. While we were talking we decided to have a chat.
"So you know practically my life story, tell me about yourself?" I said smiling.
"Well my name is Ashley Ramos and the rest depends on what you want to know." She said.
"Alright, I know this is rude but I'll rephrase it and say, how young are you?" I said grinning.
"Nice one. I'm 26 years young." She said winking.
Yeah I was correct, she was a few years older. But wow she didn't look like it. Ashley was tall, fit, had nice long blonde hair and the prettiest green eyes. She could be a freaking Sports Illustrated model. "Okay, tell me about your personal life. Family, love life.." I said.
"Well it's just me and my brother. Our parents died when I was 16 and my brother, Sergio, was 18." She said.
"Wait, you're Sergio Ramos' sister? No way!" I said grinning. Sergio Ramos was literally the best player ever. I love him so much.
"Wow Adriana. Based on what I've heard you don't know anyone." She said smirking.
"Oh please darling. I know my Madrid boys. My brother is Chris Scott." I said.
"Yeah I know you told me." She said.
"No you aren't getting it! My brother is THE Chris Scott that your brother played soccer with in University!" I said.
"No way! Such a small world." She said. "How is Chris anyways?" She asked.
"Well he kind of stopped playing rep soccer- I mean football, so that he could take over the company. He didn't mind at all. He still loves soccer but he plays less." I said frowning. "Even though he did make it look like he is happy about quitting, I knew he wasn't. So I did at one point tell him to continue his dream and I would take over but Chris denied. He said that mom would've wanted me to persue my dreams. We even had a huge fight but in the end him and my best friend convinced me to do what I want to do. Chris has a son, Xander and I know that with Xander, he'll tell him to do the same." I said. Ashley put a hand on my shoulder. I laughed. "See we did it again! This was supposed to be about you not me! Now tell me about your love life." I said demandingly.
