"Hi." I said smiling. I thought I would make things less awkward.

A pleasant smile came upon his face. "Hey." He said.

I watched him look around the table, looking at all the guys. Each one of them had a very...disapproving face? What was going on..?

"Sua puta, você se acovardou não foi?" Hulk said glaring at joia. Okay do they hate him or something?

Before Joia could answer I quickly stood up and decided to get back to work. I looked at the guys and smiled. "Alright guys, I ate. Now I'm going to go do my work. Bye!" I said walking out of the cafeteria.

I walked with my laptop to the same spot as I was before. By the sidelines on the fields. It was a nice day outside so I decided to embrace it.

I made it there and sat down. I went back to working. I really needed to get this done.

As I was looking at the profiles I was very impressed. These guys had such great coordination and stamina. However there was room for improvement.

I finished taking notes on David Luiz's profile and moved on to the next one. Neymar da Silva Santos Jr. Wow, what a name.

"This guy is very impressive." I said to myself and then started laughing. "Soccer god." I said.

"Are you talking to yourself senhora?" I heard a voice say.

I turned around to see Joia standing there. I looked at him with disbelief.

I scoffed and said, "I don't talk to myself, for your information." I turned my head back to the laptop and grinned.

He walked forward and sat down right beside me. "Yeah, sure. Impressive. Soccer God? And by the way, I don't know what you Americans think but it's football. Not soccer." He said smirking.

"Okay fine. I was talking to myself. And please. Don't judge." I said continuing to read Neymar's profile.

"Trust me it's football here. You know because we make sense. You kick the ball with your foot. That's why it's called 'foot' ball." He said grinning.

"Ah, but technically we have copyrights because American football was invented first." I winked and playfully hit him in the stomach.

"Ow! Are you trying to hurt me?" He said.

"Oh you'll live." I said turning my head back to the laptop screen.

"Who were you even talking about?" He asked leaning more towards me. The closeness we had, the intensity of it was driving me crazy. He was so perfect in everyway. He was beautiful...

I cleared my throat. "This guy on the team, Neymar. I didn't see him a practice today." I looked at him. "Have you seen him?" I asked.

He looked at me like I grew 4 heads. "Are you playing me or...?" He asked.

I looked at him confused. "What are you talking about?" I asked.

He shook his head. He looked at me and smiled.

I was really confused but I managed a weak smile.

All of a sudden, he grabbed my hand and I looked at him confused. He didn't say anything but he stood up and pulled me up with him.

"What are you-"

"I have to show you something, just come with me." I raised an eyebrow and nodded.

He, still holding my hand, guided me further off the property to a secluded area. We walked further until we reached a beautiful lake. It was surrounded by trees and bushed. It was very serene and peaceful. The view was absolutely gorgeous.

He led me to this tree and sat down. I didn't know what to do so I just mimicked and sat down beside him. His hand was still in mine. I thought about pulling it away but there was just something that was stopping me from doing so. It's funny how someone can be this influential in a matter of 2 days.

"It's so calm here." I said to him. I decided to break the silence.

"Yeah. I like it that way. Makes you divide yourself from everything around you." He said looking straight ahead.

I looked at him and saw that his eyes were filled with frustration and sorrow. I wonder what was wrong.

He turned his head and looked at me. I gave him a light smile and he just continued to look at me. His eyes were truly a pretty colour. I noticed that at times they would be green but then at other time they would have a hint of brown in them. That was my favourite.

I don't know what happened but he started leaning in. I honestly did not know what to do. So me being me, I sort of flinched.

"Um, I think I should get back to work." I pulled my hand away from his and stood up. "Thank you...thank you very much for showing me this...bye." I said very awkwardly and basically briskwalked away. Alright now that I think about it I think it was a half jog. Great he probably thinks I'm some loser.

I made it back to the sidelines and sat back down in my original spot. I shook off the Joia thoughts and got back to work. I didn't even realize that the time was now 8:00 pm, until David came and took my laptop away from me.

"Hey! I was almost done!" I yelled frowning.

"Oh come on Dia! You've been working all day anyways. Forget that. I came here to tell you some awesome news!" His face lit up as he told me.

"What happened?" I said semi-interested.

"Coach gave us permission to go clubbing this once and you're come with us." He said.

Me? A club? Ha. "You make me laugh. I'm not coming." I said.

He smirked. That's weird. He would probably be convincing me by now. "Fine then Dia. I guess this laptop of yours," He said showing me my laptop which was in his hands, "will just have to come with me." He said slyly.

I glared at him. I knew he was bluffing. Or was he?
