REPUBLIC CITY

Asami had been following Opal and Korra for the past 20 minutes. Not a single moment did she look away. She couldn't control the jealousy that she was feeling.

What made the heiress even more furious was the fact that they looked like a couple. If she never knew who they were, she would have mistaken them for a couple because of how affectionate they looked.

At the moment, she was hiding behind a corner of a building. Opal and Korra were at one of the markets nearby, and the place where Asami was gave her the perfect view to spy on them.

"Asami? What are you doing here?"

The heiress gulped when someone called her name. She nervously turned around and quickly sighed in relief when it was just Bolin. "I'm buying some stuff, what about you?"

"Oh, I'm waiting for the next boat to the temple. Opal ditched me for Korra." Bolin pouted.

"Since when did you guys know that Korra was back in the city?" asked Asami.

"Today. We actually bumped into her and she had a moment with Opal. And then now they are gone off together." said Bolin.

Asami decided to tease the earth bender. "Are you jealous?"

"Jealous of what?" he asked confusedly.

The raven-haired saw how Bolin genuinely looked confused and didn't want to mess with him anymore. "Never mind. Anyway it was nice seeing you."

"Yeah! Let's meet up one day, me, you, Korra, Opal, Mako, Wu, Jinora and Kai." suggested Bolin.

"Sure, sure whatever you say." chuckled Asami.

After her little talk with Bolin, she turned back around to look at Opal and Korra. But they weren't there. The heiress started to panic, thinking all sorts of things.

"What if she starts to catch feelings for Opal?" she mumbled to herself whilst prancing around the city.

...

"Let's go somewhere to eat." suggested Opal. "And don't worry, I'll be paying."

Korra grinned crookedly. "Alright then I'm down for it."

Opal had a great idea. They popped into a shop near the city hall and bought some foods. Korra was confused as to why Opal was buying take-away but she didn't dwell into it.

After the food was bought, the air bender took Korra to the city park (Also known as Avatar Korra Park). She sat down on the soft green grass and placed the food down.

"A picnic? How adorable." said Korra.

"Thanks." stated Opal. "Bolin always takes me to picnic dates so I kind of got the idea from him."

The avatar looked at the girl fondly. "You guys are a cute couple. I envy you."

"Thanks. I got told that Bolin use to like you. Is that true?" brought up Opal.

Korra blushed when she recalled the memories. "Yeah.. and I ended up liking his brother. But it's all in the past and I'm happy he's with you now."

"I know i've said this many times but I just want to tell you that I'm sorry. Earlier I don't think it was sincere enough, since I was crying a lot." blurted Opal.

Korra took a moment to swallow her food before speaking. "Just like I said earlier, I forgave you a long time ago. So let's just forget that happened and move on."

"Your so cool." chuckled Opal.

"Not really.. I'm just staying passive just like any other Avatar would." shrugged Korra.

It was quiet for a bit but Opal decided to speak up first. "Can I ask you something then?"

"Sure."

"If you weren't the avatar, and you were still wrongly accused, would you have forgiven everyone?" questioned Opal.

"Great question." noted Korra. "I know there is a meaning for you asking that question, so what is it?"

"Well.. remember that time my family got kidnapped because of Kuvira. I felt betrayed and hurt that nobody was doing anything. I didn't act like a proper air bender and took off. I broke several of the rules." reminisced Opal.

"I remember!" chuckled Korra. "You were so angry and you even stood in front of me pouting just to get my attention."

"Noo don't bring that up!" roared Opal.

Korra patted her head. "Don't worry it was a cute sight."

Opal glared at her. "Stop teasing me."

"Fine, fine I am sorry. By the way, my answer to your question is that, I would still forgive everyone. I was raised by kindhearted people, so I guess I naturally got that trait from them." said Korra.

"I wanna be like you one day." pouted Opal.

"What do you mean like me?" asked Korra who was taken back.

Opal had struggle with words. "I don't know but I just aspire to be like you."

"Thanks I guess." said Korra.

The two didn't talk for a while since they were enjoying the lovely food which was rigjt in front of them. Opal had spent a little more then she should have but she didn't mind since it was for Korra.
