Olivia's POV:
"OLIVIA! OLIVIA! CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH?!"
"OLIVIA! PLEASE CAN I HAVE A PICTURE!"
"OLIVIA I LOVE YOU!"
I had to keep walking with my head down past all the people towards the recording studio. They aren't real fans, they're the people who will take my autograph and sell it on eBay.
"OLIVIA IS IT TRUE YOU AND JOSH ARE STILL TOGETHER?!"
That made me freeze. I haven't heard that boy's name in 5 years. The day I caught him cheating on me was the last day I gave him a single thought. I've had to push down all my feelings about it. I've worked hard to build my wall up, and now nobody will get through. He truly hurt me that time and there's no way going back from that. I've built my wall, and no stupid cheating boy will walk through.
"Olivia, this way," Nick, my security guard, said guiding me through the crowd and into the recording studio.
I've just finished recording my third studio album, so I just need to add some final touches today, before it can be released.
Over the past five years, I've really been focussing on my music. Nobody knows this, but I'm trying to prove to myself that I can be successful without Josh's help. He's just released his third album, and we're both more successful than ever before.
"Ok, Liv so I think all we need for today is for you to belt that line in the chorus as we discussed. Then we can listen to the album all the way through to see if you like the way that it flows. And then it's all done!" my producer, Dan, informed me.
"That sounds perfect," I agreed, sitting down in the recording booth.
"All right, whenever you're ready," Dan said.
I started singing and was immediately brought back to the day Josh and I became official and told everyone. When I'm singing I allow all my emotions to breakthrough, but the second the song is done I build up my wall again.
"Olivia that was perfect!" Dan exclaimed.
"Really?"
"Yeah, you're so good at pouring all your emotions into your songs and it makes the songs so passionate."
"Haha thank you," I said sheepishly, taking off my headphones and leaving the booth.
"Alright, is there anything you want to change?"
"Um, I think that's good. This is my favourite album yet," I said.
This entire album is about Josh and how I used to feel when I was around him, so it's almost like a diary to me.
"This is definitely my favourite album of yours. Ok, I'm going to do some final edits and I'll turn the TV on so you can relax a bit," Dan said, turning on the TV and handing me the remote.
"Are you sure?" I asked hesitantly.
"You've worked your ass off making this album, you deserve to relax for a bit," he replied laughing slightly.
"I guess you're right," I admitted, sitting on the sofa.
"I'm always right," he said turning around and facing the controls.
I turned on the TV and it automatically changed to Clevver News. Why is this always on TV? It's literally useless. Just another gossiping sight
"There are even more rumors that Joshua Bassett and Lily Summers might be writing their first song together! The couple has been hinting at this for a while now, and it appears it might be finally happening. The couple is yet to confirm these rumors, but seeing how in lo-" the host started, before I cut him off by turning off the TV.
