a/n:
lol i just realised i haven't down capital letters in a couple chapters. well that's fun.
i honestly just caught be bothered lol and we know this isn't super professional so :D
i also realised that with what ended josh and liv's relationship in the first place, it would make perfect sense if liv had some issues surrounding trust. and if they have to almost learn to love each other the way they did before. so... buckle up wildcats shit's about to get real.
i also realised that i don't think i gave the director a name lmao so lets just say his name is um "James" yeah lol that works
cordially uncordial,

3rd person pov:
"do you think we should keep this quiet for now, or should we tell people?" josh asked liv, squeezing her hand that he was holding.
liv stared out the window, considering everything before responding "um i think we should tell people, right? i mean they'll be able to tell."
"is that what you want? for everyone to know?"
"well what's your definiton of 'everyone'?"
"i don't know. the cast maybe?"
josh could feel himself start to get annoyed "so you're saying you only want the cast to know? you don't want the world to know?"
"i never said that, josh. i just think i want to start with just telling the cast," olivia snapped.
"ok, ok let's not fight about this. let's just state our opinions and why we feel that way. i vote we tell people because i want everyone, meaning the world, to know how much you mean to me. what's your vote?"
"um...ok yeah um i think we should also tell everyone."
josh looked away from the road and smiled a olivia "good"
"look at us handling this like adults," olivia pointed out with a small smile on her face.
"it only took us 5 years," josh said, making them both laugh.
*back at their apartment, josh and olivia are in their bed*
liv turned around so she was facing josh "can i ask you something?"
"of course babe" josh replied, putting his arm on her waist and pulling him into her chest.
"you don't have to answer this if you don't want to, it's just kind of been bugging me since we got back," she rambled.
"it's ok, just ask," josh cut her off.
liv took a deep breath before muttering "why did you cheat on me?" she asked, taking josh by surprise.
"it just got too hard. being away from you was killing me. and lily was there for me. then one night she kissed me, and i guess it just felt easy," he muttered.
olivia went silent for a minute, staring at his chest.
"did you ever regret it?" she asked, looking up at him.
"yes. every night i had dreams about it. about what could have happened if i didn't just give up on our relationship."
"i thought you didn't care at all," liv muttered sadly.
"you couldn't be more wrong, liv. i could never not care about you."
"goodnight josh," liv sighed happily.
