* Next day at the airport *
Joshua's POV:
I'm sitting on one of the benches in the entry way of the airport by the check-in desks waiting for Olivia to arrive. Lily insisted on coming with me to the airport to say goodbye, and I'm kind of dreading her and Olivia meeting. I mean my ex-best friend and girlfriend meeting my new girlfriend? Sounds like disaster on a plate.
I keep repeating mine and Olivia's conversation in my head. She's right. I did hurt her, to the point where I don't think she'll ever forgive me. She's also right in that she's stronger than ever. I've heard her songs, she's crushing the music industry just like I said she would five years ago.
"Hey guys, sorry I'm a couple minutes late there was really bad traffic," Olivia said as she approached us.
"It's all good Olivia. Right, you guys ready to go?" Our security guard, Noah, asked.
"Yeah, I'm ready," Olivia said.
"So am I," I agreed, standing up and grabbing my luggage.
"I guess this is where we say goodbye," Lily said with a sad smile.
"Yeah, but you're gonna come visit soon, right?" I said, pulling her into a hug. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Olivia looking at us, with a pained look painted on her face.
"Mhm. I love you babe," Lily said.
"I love you too, more than anything else," that made Olivia tear up slightly.
"Text me when you get there, ok?" Lily said with puppy eyes.
"Of course. Right, I love you bye," I replied, kissing her and then joining Noah and Olivia who had started to walk away.
I looked at Olivia, and she just kept her eyes on the ground.

Olivia's POV:
I thought I was fully over Josh, but hearing him tell her that he loves her more than anything else, and seeing him kissing her felt like someone was ripping my heart out of my chest. I used to be the girl who he said he loved more than anything else, but now it's Lily.
I guess I just need to get used to it, but it hurts. It really, really hurts, more than anything.
I kept my eyes on the ground as we made our way to security, I just don't want to give Joshua any possible satisfaction by seeing me look like I could cry. I don't want to show how he's getting to me.
We rushed through security and made our way towards the waiting area when I saw a stage out of the corner of my eye.
"Singing competition! Starting in 5!" a man on the stage yelled.
"Oo Liv, Josh you guys should sign up for that," Noah said, pointing to the stage where the competition is.
"Oh uh I don't know," I said.
