"What's wrong" Jake said as they walked behind the school let go of his hand and he was confused
"Erika what's wrong babygirl" he said trying to grabbed her but she pulled away
"D-don't touch me" she said
"Why not Erika what's going on" Jake said lifting her chin up and he saw a tear fall she pulled back
"I-I'm sorry" she said
"For what princess you haven't done anything wrong" he said calmly
"I don't want to be with you anymore"
"What why! -it's your dad isn't it he's making you do this"
"I don't want anything to happen to you I don't want you to get hurt"
"I can defend myself! I'm fine your dad doesn't scare me we're supposed to leave together Erika I love you don't do this" Jake said
"I can't be with you"
"Yea you can! I understand your scared but there's only 5 months left and we can leave!" He yelled

"I'm sorry Jake I love you but-"
"Nah I've been waiting for you Erika you promised once you turn 18 to leave far away I could have gone without you but I love you so I've waited all these months getting my ass beat for you! "Jake yelled making her flinch
"Jake please I'm sorry"
"Then stay!"
"I can't please understand"
"No I can't fucking understand!"
"Jake please my dad he threatened to call the cops on you and I don't want anything to happen to you-"
"I don't care I want to be with you!" He said
"I-I'm sorry" Erika said and left Jake punched the brick wall over and over his knuckles bleeding until Anthony ran to him

"No!...I want to be alone" Jake said walking away Anthony yelling out for him but he kept walking

Jakes POV
It's October we've graduated stupid school and I'm still living with my dad I want to leave so bad but I can't even though Erika broke up with me I haven't taken my eye off her I always pass by her house to make sure she's alright I miss her but the fear she has for her dad beat her and I don't know what to do anymore

Erikas POV
I miss Jake so much I wish I could go and be with him but I can't my dad...I don't want anything to happen to Jake I love him so much I still talk to sunny I'm not allowed to go outside my dad doesn't let me he still beats me I just want everything to stop I don't know how much more I can take

"D-dad can I go out s-sunny wants to-"
"No! Now go back up to your room"
"Please I haven't gone out-"
"Go to your room!" He yelled
"Please-" her step mom slapped her
"Listen to your dad!" She yelled at her
"I hate you I hate both of you!"erika said getting up
"Take it back Erika respect her she's your mother-"
"No she's not my mom died and since then all you've done is hit me why! I was your princess your little girl If y-you didn't w-want m-me why c-couldn't you j-just leave me ,a-abandon me w-why...I-I'm tired I-I can't take t-this a-anymore"Erika said running upstairs to her room and locking it she grabbed her jacket and left through the window

Jakes POV
I don't know what to do I feel like I could die I can never be happy people always walk out on my leaving me alone I wish Logan was here to talk to me to tell me what to do but he's not

"I'm always going to be alone...always!" Jake said sadly throwing his blunt on the floor and throwing anything that was in his sight he grabbed his guitar About to smash it one the floor when he heard a voice
"D-don't...d-Don't d-destroy it" Erika said softly Jake looked at her he set the guitar down
