It was a normal day for you, well..at the beginning it was normal. You got out of bed and got ready for work like usual but, while you were watching the news you saw something unbelievable. Your parents were killed while they were asleep. Well, that's what the news said anyway, but you still couldn't believe it. This whole thing stressed you out.
So when you were up and ready, you still looked exhausted from the big news. You loved your parents and you didn't even get to say good bye to them...which hurt you the most. After breakfast you grabbed all your things and headed your way to the agency.
And of course, the first person that greeted you was this country boy named Kenji Miyazawa, and you usually greet him back with a happy face but today was different. When Kenji greeted you, you gave the boy a small grunt and didn't smile so Kenji immediately knew something was up.
You walked past Kenji and went over to your desk, got ready and started your latest report. When you sat down, Kenji glared over at you with a sad frown. "Hey Kunikida, what's wrong with Y/N?" The blonde male wearing the glasses glared over at the small country boy.
"Did you not watch the news, her parents recently died. she loved them" Kenji's eyes widened. "Oh, so that's why she's all down in the dumps today" Kenji looked over at you and sighed. "Now I feel bad..she never looks so sad.."
"Well things happen Kenji, life isn't just sunshine and rainbows" Kenji nods and then he walks over to you. "Hey Y/N..I heard what happened to you" You looked up at the small boy and smiled a bit. "Are you worried about me Kenji?" The boy nods slightly, with a frown on his face. "Oh, Kenji. Don't worry about me" You smiled more and ruffled his hair. "I'll be ok..today's just..not the day"
Kenji sighed and bit his lip. "Is there something I can do to cheer you up?" You shook your head. "I don't think you can bring back the dead.." Kenji nodded and walked away with a sad face, but then he had the best idea.

Soon, the day ends, and Kenji realizes that you still have one more report to finish so he got up and got his things ready before heading to your home. He had a spare key so he was able to secretly get inside.
He put the key through the lock and opened the door, then he headed inside and closed the door again. He went to your kitchen and started getting the things he needed so that he could make you f/f. You knew you LOVED that meal so he wanted to do something that he knew would make you smile just for a little.
Ounce he got what he needed, Kenji walked over to the stove and turned it on, and filled a pot with water and everything else. He followed the recipe that you taught him and walla, f/f. It looked so GOOD to Kenji but he had to hold it in till you got home. He made this for you, not himself.
Kenji smiled down at his dish in satisfaction and sat in on the kitchen table, that's when he heard the door knob rattle. He smiled and laughed as he ran to a closet and hid inside. When you opened your door, your nose was immediately filled with some type of smell, a delicious smell to be exact. It smelled kinda like..
You sat your back down and walked into the kitchen of your home, seeing a bowl of f/f/ sitting on your table, which made you smile. 'Who did this?' You walked over and took the silver wear that was sitting inside the bowl and you stared at the meal. It looked perfectly normal but..should you eat it? Or is there some type of booby-trap?
You shrugged and decided to take the chance, it looked delicious. Ounce you took a bite your mouth watered in delight. You then sat down and ate some more, and so far nothing seemed wrong with your system so it must be ok to eat!
After you were done eating, you sat up and washed your bowl and spoon. "That was delicious!" "Glad you liked it!" "AHHHHHH!!" You dropped your bowl in the sink and turned around, frightened. But then you saw Kenji with the usual soft smile he had across his lips. "Kenji! It's only you" You sighed in relief and fell to your knees. "You scared the crap out of me, don't do that again!"
Kenji frowned and sighed. "Sorry.." Your eyes widened and you went over to Kenji and hugged him. "No no! Don't be sad! Your never sad!"Kenji's eyes widened as he felt your weight fall on him, it was warm though so Kenji smiled and hugged you back. He liked warm hugs.
"Thank you Kenji, well um..You made that for me correct?" You both pulled away but you kept your hands on the country boy's shoulders, and he nodded. "Well, thank you" Kenji smiled. "No problem! You were having a hard day so I wanted to make you happy again like you always were!" You smiled and hugged Kenji ounce again. "Thank you Kenji, I'm so glad that I know someone like yourself. Don't ever change, you hear me?"
Kenji nodded and he hugged back. "I don't see myself changing anytime soon" You laughed. "Even if you change just a little, I'll come for your ass" Kenji looked at you with his head tilted. "What's-" your eyes widened and you decided to cover his mouth before he could say the word 'ass'. "It's nothing, pretend I didn't say anything Kenji"
