It was the night the Armed Detective Agency finally defeats the guild, since there mission was successful President Fukuzawa decided to put on a little party for everyone. With snacks and alchohol, along with underraged beverages for the minors.
Mostly everyone was inside talking to each other, except for you, Dazai, and Atsushi. The three of you were drinking and watching the sunset. It was a very beautiful night.
"Great work you two" Dazai looked at you and Atsushi and smiled proudly. "Thanks, you did good too you know?" You smiled back and laughed at Dazai's praise.
Then, the two of you stared at each other's eyes. Which made the were-tiger slightly uncomfortable. "Umm, ya you did great too" Atsushi laughed nervously and rubbed the back of hise head.
"Well, let's make a toast" Atsushi tilted his head. "For?" Dazai smiled and lifted his cup into the air. You and Atsushi following right behind him. "To the stray dogs" You looked at Atsushi and smiled, and then you guys clinged your cups together.
After finishing your drinks, Fukuzawa came over to congratulate everyone for the victory and to handle the empty cups. After he leaves everything becomes slightly awkward.
You looked over at Atsushi and he smiled. "Are you ok?" He whispered over to you so Dazai couldn't hear. "Well um, I wanna kiss Dazai but I feel like asking isn't the proper way, especially since we're not dating"
Atsushi nodded and glared at the brown haired man staring into the sunset. "How about you play "Too Hot" with him?" You looked at Dazai and bit your lip. "What if he says no?" Atsushi shrugged. "Just try"
You sighed and nodded, and then you slowly walked over to Dazai. "Um Dazai" Dazai looked down at you and tilted his head. "Yes? Is everything ok?" You started to stutter. "Well um..I was wondering if you wanted to play Too Hot?"
Dazai's eyes grew tense, as if he was serious. "Are you testing me?" You blushed once he bent down, now his fave was close to yours, your noses nearly touching. "I-" You were interrupted with Dazai's lips pressing against yours. Making your face turn red.
Dazai's lips were soft to the touch, perfect for yours like you suspected, he also was a pretty good kisser. You guys have already kissed for about a minute, and you were so close to wrapping your arms around him, but then you felt something wrap around your waist. Dazai's arms, he lost the game.
You can here clapping from a far distance, then shouts. "THEY FINALLY DID IT!" It was Ranpo, the great detective. Your eyes widened, and your reflexes pulled you away from Dazai's kiss so you could look at the cheerful man child.
Dazai looked in Ranpo's direction and smirked. "You knew she liked me for a long time ha Ranpo?" The detective nods. "Of course, she's easy to read" You looked down and sighed. "Am I really..?"
Dazai nods. "Yup, I knew from the start" You looked back at him and your face grew red. "Then why didn't you ask me out sooner?!" Dazai laughed. "It was fun seeing you suffer, I also wanted you to let out your feelings first"
You quickly realized what Dazai meant by that. "Wait so..you liked me too?" Dazai nods and lifts your chin up. "Of course, why wouldn't I? Your a beautiful woman are you?"
"Well um, I'm a woman but I don't know about beautiful..I honestly thought you'd decline me" Atsushi walked over to you and frowned. "Why would he decline? He has no reason too"
"Atsushi's right, your perfect" You smiled and looked into Dazai's eyes. "Well, now that's all settled let's go cut some cake!" Ranpo cheered and ran into the agency's building, making the three of you laugh.
"We should have some too, it's a celebration after all" You and Atauahi agreed with Dazai and the both of you walked in, and of course Ranpo blurted out that you and Dazai were now a couple.
Which Kunikida couplet believe, also Fukuzawa was proud of you two. Everybody congratulated the two of you and then ounce everything calmed down you and Dazai shared some cake together, laughing along with the other agency members.
