Sakunosuke Oda, the lowest ranking Port Mafia executive. He's been avoiding you for the past month, which made you extremely sad, and you always wondered why. Did you do something wrong? Or was he just protecting you? Recently, Mimic soldiers illegally came into Yokohama, nobody knows how or when but the boss knows that there a big threat to them, so they need to be stopped.
Your mind wondered all day about the executive, so you decided to go up to see the boss for answers. "Hello, boss?" The elevator door to Mori's office opened up, revealing the guarded room. "Oh, how splendid to see you," The boss smiles and watches you walk over to his office desk. You slightly bowed and sat down in the chair one of the guards sat down.
"So, what brings you here today?" You sighed and looked down and started to play with your fingers nervously. "Well um..Odasaku has been..avoiding me, I was wondering if you knew why" The boss smiled and nodded. "So, that's why," You looked up at Mori and nodded. "Yes,"
"He told me not to tell you for protection reasons, but since you so kindly asked I'll tell you, just don't let Odasaku know that you know," You nodded. "Yes sir," "Odasaku has been all over the place lately ever since I put him on Ango's case, he ran into Mimic during Ango's finding and now the leader wants to battle him," Your eyes widened. "The leader..?"
The boss nods. "Yup," You looked down and sighed. "O-Ok.." You then stand up. "But recently," You looked up at Mori and sat back down. "The kids he's been taking care of just passed," You looked down. "O-Oh..." Oda took you too see the kids ounce, you liked them a lot, and they liked you. So, you felt like a parent with Oda when they were around.(I'm trying not to fucking cry, omg!) "H-How'd they find them..?"
Mori shrugged. "Idk, Dazai picked a nice hiding spot for them but was somehow found"(Sure you don't know bitch) You nodded. "He's now trying to find Gide and fight him to his death," Your eyes widened. "W-What!? He can't do that on his own!" You stood up quickly and ran. "What are you doing?" The elevator door opens. "I'm going to get Dazai, I need to save him!" You looked down and walked inside. "I'm sure Dazai would want to save his friend too..." The elevator closes, and you go to retrieve Dazai. He brought bodyguards and soldiers with him and you both headed towards the mansion Odasaku ran too.

"ODASAKU!!" The two of you screamed his name together, which made the man alerted. "Y/N..Dazai.." He looked back and saw the two standing by the door with mafioso soldiers. "They must be important to you ha?" Gide aimed his guns at the two, which made your eyes widen. "Y/N! Dazai! Get out of here!" Odasaku grabbed Gide's arms, making him point to the ground. "Oda! Please stop this!" You started to cry while holding onto the side of the door, hiding behind it, and then Dazai saw Mimic soldiers on the other side of the room, shooting at the mafioso guards. "Y/N! Get down!" Dazai screamed at you and jumped towards you, making you hide behind the door with Dazai.
The man covered your ears with his hands so your ears don't pop with all the gun fire, Dazai was fine on the other hand since he's use to all this. "Don't look," Even though you were a mafioso with Dazai, you've never seen all these dead corpses at once, you can already smell them though, which was an awful rotting smell.
Soon, the shooting stops. "Odasaku," Dazai sat up and pulled you along. "Is Odasaku ok?" You stood up and looked out the door, seeing Oda fall to the ground. 'ODA!!!" You ran to his falling corpse and had him fall into your lap. "Y/N!" Dazai ran after you and saw his friend laying onto your lap. "Oda you idiot.." Dazai sat besides you. "Oda why!?" You held him close and cried. "Y/N..I need to tell you something.." You quiet crying and looked at him. "Y-Yes...."
The man cupped your cheek and slightly smiled. "I did this for you..you would of died sooner or later if Mimic wasn't stopped..they would of used you as bait too.." You put your hand over Oda's, continuing to cry. "You didn't have to go alone.." Oda nodded. "I have one more thing to say..I.. I love you" Your eyes widened and you just bowled right there. "A-And Dazai...please become a good man..it'll make your world a little brighter...maybe...save some orphans..."
"Oda, your not going to die so--" The man pulled you in with the last of the strength he had and kissed you, making Dazai's eyes widen. Oda pulled away and looked at Dazai. "Please, take Y/N with you..and please, do whatever you can to protect her.." The man lowered his hand and dropped it on top of yours. "no, Oda please!!!" Your cried and held him close. "Y/N..He's gone now..." Dazai scooted closer to you and rubbed your back.
"Oda why.." Dazai helped you stand up as other mafia members came too pick up Oda, an after a week later Dazai came to visit his casket with you by his side. "Um, here Y/N, why don't you give him this" Dazai gave you the photo of you, Oda, Dazai, and Ango in the bar. The photo made you smile as you looked in the open casket, seeing Oda's corpse. "H-Here Oda, this is from me and Dazai," You tumbled but sat the photo in the casket, then Dazai sat flowers in along with it.
After that, you and Dazai went to go look for a new job, and both of your spots were now open within the mafia. Chuuya suggested in finding the both of you but Mori declined. You and Dazai bumped into Chief Taneda, who was in charge of the Super Divisions for unusual powers. He helped the both of you get into the detective agency, making Oda's dream come true.
