Atsushi walked over to the agency, not in the best mood. It was cold and rainy, along with a dark gray sky. It was like, the weather knew how the were-tiger felt. It completely matched his emotions at the moment.
Soon, Atsushi makes it to the agency, and he notices you helping Kunikida calm down the hyperactive Dazai. "Please Dazai, calm down!" For some odd reason, Dazai couldn't stay still for the life of him.
Seeing you made Atsushi slightly smile, but his frown immediately came back after. So the were-tiger walked over to his desk, ounce he got there he laid his head on his arms. "Oh, hey Atsushi-!" You waved at the white haired boy, but you soon realized how soaking wet he was from walking in the rain.
"Atsushi, did you walk through the rain?" You walked up to Atsushi and frowned, it was probably one of those days when everything kicks in at ounce. The were-tiger looks up at you and nods. "Kunikidas going to be mad if he sees you like this, come on let me dry you up"
You walked around Atsushi's desk and grabbed his hand, pulling him up. Atsushi wanted to protest, but he wasn't in the mood to do so. You took Atsushi to Yosano's office. "Yosano, are you in there?" You knocked on the nurses door and waited patiently.
Soon, Yosano opens the door. "Any surgery need to be done?" You sook your head and pulled Atsushi to the front and sat your hands on his shoulders. "Atsushi doesn't feel well, he's been down ever since he came to work. I want to make his day better before kunikida gets attitude towards him"
Yosano nodded. "One of those days I see?" The were-tiger didn't answer, or did he glare into Yosano or you eyes. You frowned and sighed. "Atsushi, what's the matter?" All of a sudden, a brilliant idea came to mind. "Hey! I know what'll cheer you up! How about some Chazuke?!" Atsushi looked back at you and shrugged.
"Yosano, can you keep him in your office?" The nurse of the agency nodded and grabbed Atsushi's hand. "I'll be right back" You turned around and went over to the agency's small kitchen. "Time to make some Chazuke-" You were stopped out of surprise when you opened up the cabinets to see Ranpo inside eating his feelings away.
"Ranpo? What are you dong in here?" Ranpo glared at you and smiled. "I wanted some place quit so I could eat peaceully, Kunikida is getting on my last nerves with his yelling" You nodded. 'So, he's already in a bad mood, good thing I found Atsushi before he did or he would of been more upset' "What are you doing here?" The great detective hopped down from the cabinet with his signature lollipop in his mouth.
"Oh, I came to make some Chazuke for Atsushi, he's been down in the dumps today for some odd reason" Ranpo smirked. "It's because somebody just broke up with him" Your eyes widened. You completely forgot that you could of just came to ask Ranpo. You wanted to say something, but no words came out ounce you opened your mouth to speak.
"So, he's heart broken.." The words finally escape your mouth. "Yup, he won't be in the mood for Chazuke anyway" "Not in the mood? This is Atsushi we're talking about" Ranpo laughed. "Things like this can change a person, or just ruin there appetite, I'd leave him be for right now if I were you" You looked out the kitchen towards Yosano's office.
"He needs me," You sighed and walked over to the nurse's door and knocked, Yosano quickly opening it soon after. "Is the chazuke done?" You shook your head. "Nope, no need. I figured out what the matter was" Yosano raised her eyebrow, waiting for you to continue. "He's been through a break up"
Yosano's eyes widened, and she also looked back and the were-tiger laying under the blankets. "No wonder why he's been saying he wanted to die" Your eyes widened. "WHAT??" Under the blanket, Atsushi's eyes widened in fright. "He's been saying he wanted to die?! Why didn't you come get me?!" Yosano fell to the ground, but you grabbed the nurse by the collar before she could hit the ground.
"You were busy," You sighed and apologized the Yosano as you sat her back down. "It's o, you were upset" You bowed down and ran over to Atsushi, sitting the boy up. "What were you thinking?! Don't be a Dazai!" Atsushi's eyes watered. "You don't understand.." You bit your lips and sighed. "Sadly, I do.." Atsushi tilted his head.
"H-Ha?" You nodded and sat besides the were-tiger. "I've been through lots of break ups actually..more then I can count. Just one shouldn't hurt as much as it is right now.." You couldn't make eye contact as your face slowly grew red.
"I never found the one, so I just gave up..but I love someone now and I don't want to lose them too.." Atsushi was able to quickly piece together what you meant, and so making him blush. "W-wait..that's why you got so upset?" You nodded. "You like me don't you..?" You nodded again. "Y-Ya...but I know your not ready..after I heard you were taken, I grew sad but hid it away so nobody would notice.."
Atsushi nodded. "Well.." The were-tiger lifted your head so he could see your red face and beautiful e/c. "T-Thank you for worrying about me.." He slightly smiled and gave you a tight hug. "When I'm ready..we can be together.." You blushed and smiled, hearing those words finally relived you.
"I know you better then that cheater anyway, you won't be lie the last one will you?.." You looked at Atsushi with a serious look. "How can I cheat on an adorable kitten like you?" You smiled and ruff;ed Atsushi's hair. "I'm..a tiger" Atsushi blushed and looked down. "Well, get used to being called kitten because I'm not stopping"
Atsushi grunted, but he couldn't help but smile. "Um, hey you two love birds, you should get back to work before Kunikida's head explodes" You and the were-tiger could hear the blonde detective slowly losing his marbles due to a certain suicidal maniac, making the both of you slightly giggle.
"Stay here and rest, I'm sure your sleepy" Atsushi shook his head and stood up. "No, I'm fine see?" Right after the were-tiger says that, he yawns. "No your not, go get some rest" Atsushi sighed and laid back down, he knew how you react when he isn't in a healthy condition for work.
"I'll calm down Kunikida, just relax for today" Atsushi nodded and watched you leave. The were-tiger couldn't help but smile. "She may be the one for you Atsushi~" Yosano teased the boy and laughed as she picked up the medicine cup and bottle before putting them away.
"Yosano!" Atsushi blushed and threw something at the nurse, making her laugh. Soon, Atsushi finally fell asleep(Surprisingly) and he had a nice dream about the two of you. Of course, there were also times were you came up to check on him, and when you did he slept so peacefully.
