You stepped into the office of the detective agency, and you were immediately greeted by Kunikida Doppo, the idealist and the hard worker of the detective agency. "Hello Y/N, hows your morning so far?" You smiled brightly and bowed.
"It's going well, thank you for asking. How about you?" Kunikida smiled. "Other then Dazai, it's going well" You laughed and shook your head. "Of course," You sighed to yourself and headed to your seat. "Hey Y/N!" Dazai sung your name and went over to your desk. "What is it Dazai?" You scooted back a bit and blushed at the man that was close to you. "Would you like to go on a date with me!?" Your eyes widened and you blushed more. "Is it a double suicide?"
The man shook his head. "Nope! It'll be fun! Trust me!" You looked down and bit your lip. "I-I'll think about it.." The man nodded and stood back up. "OK!" Dazai gave you a beautiful smile and headed back to his desk. "Dazai! Leave the lady alone!" The suicidal maniac glares over at his partner like he's saying. "I am". You giggled softly and looked down at your computer, starting work for the day.
After the whole commotion this morning, you couldn't stop thinking about Dazai's proposal. A date? What type of date though? That's why you hesitated to say yes, so you just said 'You'll think about it'. But you still haven't decided what to do. Soon, the end of the day comes, and work has ended, at least for you. So you grabbed all of your finished reports and headed to the President. "Hi President, here are some reports I finished" You stood in front of his desk and sat the papers down, then you bowed and slightly smiled.
"Thank you Y/N, just like the others here, you are a very hard worker. Keep it up" You nodded. "I will" You President gives you a small smile and wave, as you walked out the office. "Hey Y/N! Have you decided!" "W-WOH!" Dazai scared the living crap out of you, making you fall backwards, but you didn't fall to the floor so you opened your eyes and saw that Dazai has caught you like you were in the middle of a dance.
"Woh, what a romantic catch" Ranpo was sitting on top of his desk, clapping. "Ranpo!" You blushed and looked down. "Here, have a rose my lady" Ranpo took a rose from the vase and threw it to you, and you catch it. "Now that I caught you, you owe me one Y/N" You looked at Dazai and you saw the gleam in his eyes, which you knew what he wanted then. "F-Fine... I'll go on that date.." The male's eyes widened and he smiled. "YA! You won't regret it! Go home and get ready, I'll pick you up!"
You sighed and nodded, then you went back home to get ready. You decided to wear a white dress, you were going to regret wearing white but it was the only dress you had right on hand. So you sucked up your emotion and dealt with it. Dazai said that he'd call you when he was on his way, but he still hasn't done so. 'Was the date cancelled?..' You sat on your couch and sighed, almost giving up..until... You heard your phone ring, so you sighed in relief and opened up your phone, answering the call.
