The Introduction

Maria felt nervous that Natasha would finally be meeting her family. Maria's family was not supportive of her at all, they were and are homophobic. Natasha didn't really mind besides it wasn't like she was going to let some lousy comment get in the way of who she was as a person.

Maria was dressed in a White long sleeve button up shirt. It was the one she wore for her cousin's wedding nothing too fancy just a button up plain white collared shirt. Her ripped jeans went with her Black shoes she had on. She was waiting on Nat as usual, Melinda was accompanying the two in case things went south which they probably would. Maria liked having May around for company, she couldn't take any of the guys because they were exmtermly messy and embarrassing and not to mention they have been getting into loads of trouble that past week leading to many many phone calls to Maria's 'liking'. Nat stepped out from the bathroom who just showered she was dressed in a Maroon Christmas sweater. She wore white pants and her black shoes. Suddenly their doorbell ringed.

"Probably May." Natasha answered breaking the silence between the two. 

"Yeah, I'll go get it." Maria replied as she made her way through the hall and down the staris.

She opened the doer to reveal a tired looking May dressed in A Black collared sweater with Jeans and black shoes. 

"Hey Maria." May said halfway through a yawn,"May did you sleep last night." Maria asked slightly. May on smirked s little from that,"I got a few hours, me and Coulson were up all night with the team." May said, Natasha came down the stairs and greeted May and she greeted her friend back.

"Finally meeting parents eh?" May elbowed Natasha as she threw a glare to her. Maria rolle dher eyes playfully closing the door behind them. 

"So what were you and Coulson doing up so late?" Maria asked getting a perk of interest from Natasha.

"The kids wanted to make cookies and we had to make sure they didn't burn the base down. Especially since Fitzsimmons like the use science." She explained as they got into the car with Maria driving and Nat in in the passenger seat, May sat in the back.

Natasha chuckled,"You and Coulson have a small family going on with each other...." Natasha started, May looked up from her phone,"Yeah, He adopted a bunch of kids to his liking." May joked," Maybe you and a Coulson should have one of your own?" Natasha suggested. May look up at her in dispare, her face turned a slight shade of red.

"Actually that's another reason why I volunteered to come along with the both of you," May stated," Nat looked at her from the mirror and raised and eyebrow,"I'm 1 week along." May states blankly looking at the couple. Natasha took a moment to process what he had just said. 

"Wait, WHAT." Natasha exclaimed, looking back at the agent," Your serious?" Natasha said with a grin,"When have you two--" Natasha was cut of by Maria," Nat!" She exclaimed looking over to her fiancé [Ill make a chapter in how she proposed]. 

"What? I'm curious." Nat stared blankly,"Tell me full story." Natasha wanted answers.

"It's been going on for a couple of months until my period was late. That's pretty much it." May shrugged.

Nat clapped her hands together,"May that's amazing! You told him yet?" She said,"Not yet, I'm planing too tomorrow or on Christmas, I don't have a gift for him yet." May explained looking out the window.

The two of the most congratulated her as she pulled up to a large house. Another thing about Maria's family was she was the second oldest of her three sisters and two brothers along with her family being rich. [I don't know if it's just me but I see Maria's family as a rich family for some reason]

They got out the car and Maria knocked on the door as it opened reaveling her mother. Maria's mother greeted them all as they all walked in the house. Inside the house were all Maria's siblings who came to visit, Her Aunt and some of her cousins. Now Maria was anxious.

They sat down on the couch as Nat and May started a small conversation about the baby and how she was going to tell Coulson. Maria's Sister maddie must have heard their conversation because she shouted,"You're Pregnant?!". May hide her face in her hands, Maddie joine the two talking to them. Maddie knew Them both for about three years maybe more now.

It was around 6:00 when Maria said she had to tell them something, May motion for her to go on.

"So, Uh, Me and Natasha are getting married." Maria said sternly looking at her Aunt, Mother and Father.

Maria's siblings were the only ones who supported her and a 3 of her cousin out of the many she had. The congratulated her as Maria's aunt wasn't very pleased.

"You couldn't find...Anythign other than this..?" She stated, that got Maria's full attention.

"Excuse Me." She stated looking her Aunt's way. Natasha didn't seem to have a care in the world for that comment, but May and Maria did. It's not like May could just straight up hit the women, it would be assault. May held herself together with a hard expression on her face.

"Your parents just wanted all straight kids. Not some lesbian with whatever she is." Her aunt staged firmly.

"You don't realize how homophobic and stupid you fucking sound?" Maria hissed at her Aunt. Now Natasha was worried. Maria's aunt made her way to Maria pulling her by the arm into another room. It was dead silent. Maria's mother followed, Maria's father had to accept the fact that Natsah may just end up being apart of the family. She seems nice and looked nice.

"I'm extremely  sorry about her Natasha." He stated to the redhead women which earned a surprise look from everyone.

"That's new." Maddie whispered,"Look I'm just going to have to accept the fact that Maria's lesbian and you're apart of the family now. Congrats on your engagement." He told her, Natasha smiled sweetly at him. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all. Suddenly screaming could be heard from the room as May got up to go see but was stopped.

"You're pregnant May." Natasha said sternly holding her by her wrist.

May sighed and sat back down. She fiddled with her wedding ring as Maria came out; her face had a red mark on it. It caught Natasha attention. She rushed over to As she placed a hand on her cheek over the red marking. She saw Maria's mom angry and Maria's aunt who seemed more upset.

"Are you okay?" Natasha asked gently looking into her eyes, Maria's hand went up to gently squeeze the one that she had on her cheek. She felt Natasha's engagement ring on her hand,"Im fine Tasha..." She told her before looking over to her aunt and Mother.

It was 7:30 and it was getting darker.

"We should get going." Maria told her family,Natasha leaned her head on Maria's shoulder as she intertwined their fingers. They said their goodbyes and after May left they were left along in their  house.

"I'm sorry about what happened today." Maria said placing a small kiss on Natasha's lips,"It's fine really,your dad accepts us, not sure about your mom." Nat replied getting dressed into more comfortable clothes. Maria changed into sleeping shorts that where black and white with a grey T-shirt while Natasha wore grey sweatpants and a white sweater that belonged to Maria.

"So you're good..?" Maria asked her as she layed down on the bed.

"Yeah." Natasha replied turning off the lights joining Maria as they both went to bed.
