AOS ONE SHOTS

It was a Sunday on the base and everyone had gotten the day off. Elena spent her time reading one of her favorite books before she turned Inhuman and even when she was a kid.

Reading says calmed her down in a way when her parents would fight. Especially after her dad gotten mixed up with some bad people, and all that.

She was reading 'Love in time of war.' (I don't know if that she an actual book I just mad this one up-) It was about a couple, who were in love but they were on opposite teams and didn't know how to settle an argument between their two country's so they ran away together until they were caught by their teams and sentenced to death until they escaped. She was only halfway through the book so that's all she knew.

Elena honestly didn't noticed the pair of eyes that where watching her from the kitchen. In the kitchen both Daisy, Coulson, May and Mack all stood there. Daisy was giggling slightly and watching Mack's eyes trace over her. May just rolled her eyes and passed a beer to Coulson, who accepted it.

"You going to keep starring at her?" May suddenly said breaking Daisy's small giggles which turned into a fit of giggles from May's question.

"Wha?? No, i-it's not like that--" Mack began to explain to the commander, but May just sighed

"You wanna know how many times Bobbi heard that from Jemma when talking about Fitz?" May said practically face palming herself as Daisy's giggles turned into a burst of laughter, as the young Inhuman almost choked on her beer, when taking a sip.

"What? Is Mack hammer to shy to ask the girl out?" Daisy said nudging him slightly though it didn't really move him given his size.

"Hey tremors." He said

"Ya?" Daisy answered taking a sip of beer.

"What happened last night between you and Lincoln?" He said smirking before looking back at the couch to find it empty, she must've went to her room

 "I wasn't hear last night nor was Lincolnne was at his apartment I was on a mission-" she said confused before she could finish Mack had left the kitchen with May and Zcoulsonjust chatting there and she decide to join the two older agents.

He was right he found her in her room reading  when he saw the door slightly open. He knocked while opening it as she looked up. She had glasses on her face. Well not exactly glasses but more like glasses frames without the glass. He closed the door behind him.

"Hey," 

"Hey," She replied turning her attention back to her book.

"Never took you for the reading kind." He joked teasing her.

She chuckled setting her book down on her lap. Little did Daisy know that the two had been dating for quite some time, he felt kinda bad that she still try and set the two up, not that he didn't care about the setup but the fact that she had pieced it together.

"Watcha reading?" He asked

"Love In Time Of War. Favorite book since I was a kid." She said starring at the book on her lap

"Must be nice," He replied to her, pressing a soft kiss to her cheek and then her lips.

God he was grateful for having her in his life. He trusted he ever since he told her about hope. He was lucky to have her.

He sat next to her on the bed she layed on, placing his head on her shoulder before intertwining their hands and brining her hand up placing a kiss on her palm gently looking at the scar she had received on a mission a while back.

She chuckled.

"I love you..." She said quietly

"I love you too...Yo-Yo.." He said before teasing her.

She figured reading could wait.

This was a moment she didn't want to waste.
