Elena usually took naps during the day. She had to have 8 full hours of sleep just to be a working member of society, but ever since she joined the team it has always been interfering with her sleep schedule, So she often took naps. If she never got her 8 hours of sleep she would snap at something so little that Coulson had to get her a bunk on the base and make use of it.
It was a afternoon and the team had just finished a mission, Fitz walked into the kitchen area near the lounge room, He saw random agents chatting in the room. What he did not expect to find was Elena sleeping on the couch. He asked the agents how long she's been there but they said she was already there when they got there. The agents soon left not long after Mack came in... He sat down on one of the couches and turned the T.V on Fitz stayed there another few minutes almost one hour before he went back to the lab and to help Jemma out.
Mack was left there along with his thoughts and A sleeping Elena.
He stared at Elena sleeping for a whole minute At one point her body seemed to tense up from something. Mack got up walked over and managed to slip her head on his leg so he could sit, He stared down as her one more and then turn the T.V off as he shut his eyes for a while. A few hours later Jemma stumbled into the kitchen as she glanced at the two sleeping on the couch she could only grin and take a picture to show Daisy later and Bobbi. Those two love each other but won't admit it kinda like how May and Coulson work but except there way different from them. She walked out, Boy were they both going to hear about this from Daisy and Bobbi often.
Elena woke up first she was comfy and a warm feeling was inside her body as she realized she was laying on Mack. She got up rubbed her eyes as she then tried to avoid yawning, Mack woke up seconds later as her look at her and smiled, Elena just laid back down,"You're comfy..." she stated
"Is that so?" Mack replied
"Sí.." Elena said shutting her eyes
Mack chuckled softly, he probably knew that someone was bound to see them so he just went along with it as he turned the T.V on and put it on low as Coulson and Daisy stalked in the room. Oh great just what he needed. Daisy stopped as she saw them then squealed really loud that May came running into the room, Elena jerked up and grabbed a pillow throwing it at Daisy's Face
"Shut up Dais, I'm trying to sleep-" Elena snapped as she laid back down, "Did you have to squeal it sounded like dying protocol over here." May said walking to the fridge
"Sorry can't help myself but you cannot disagree that that isn't cute." Daisy said pointing to Mack and Elena. "Sure daisy sure." Coulson said. May laughed lowly and softly so that Daisy wouldn't hear her. Daisy frowned and Coulson smiled
"What about you two and your undying not admitted love for each other?" Daisy said looking at both May and Coulson, May shot her a glare as daisy put her hands up in defense. Mack watched from afar as the three made contact with one another. They were like a small family, in fact that's exactly what it was. Those three probably don't know it but Mack knew they were smarter than that. The three soon left as another two hours passed by it was already 9:00 and almost everyone was going to bed except for Fitzsimmons, May, Coulson and a few others. He poked Elena as she didn't respond to the poke her did it once more she stayed asleep, she was out cold. He scooped her up as her carried her to her bunk luckily no one was in the hallways and they didn't run into Daisy.
He opened the door to her bunk and set her down, and pulled the blanket to cover her. He was about to walk out when her felt a tug pulling his hand, he turned around and saw Elena holding it half awake, half asleep.
"Please...stay..?" She said softly
He looked at her, making eye contact, her eyes starring into his own, she scooted over as her took his shoes off and laid down next to her. She laid her head on his chest as she curled up by his side, one of his arm's over her shoulder protectively holding her they soon both fell asleep as they forgot to close the door.
Daisy roomed the hallways wearing a Shirt of lincoln's and some sweatpants she walked overnight to Elena's bunk seeing her door was open and she stiffiled her gasp when she saw her and Mack were asleep on her bed. She took a quick picture before closing the door slowly to avoid waking them both up and yelling at her especially Elena. She was pretty scary when she didn't have 8 hours of sleep.
The next morning Elena woke up warm and the same feeling in her body from yesterday. She just fell back asleep not wanting the moment to end.
